Secrets uncovered

"What movie Do you guys think we are watching tonight?" Maddie asked while she braided her hair.
"I hope we watch a Romantic movie" Jess battered her eyes and we giggled
"Ugh!" Maddie started fighting her hair and turned around with a pouty face "I'm trying to braid my hair like Avas, its just not working out." Maddie cried
We all laughed and Ava went over to help her with her hair "what movie do you want to watch Hayley?....hayley? Hello earth to hayley! HAYLEY!" Maddie screamed
"Huh what?!" I got a fright I wasn't listening to anything the girls were saying. I could think about nothing but Demi
"I said what movie are you hoping to watch?" Maddie repeated
"Oh, uh ..um" I stuttered Still trying to get out of my daydream
"Romantic movies, Right?" Jess suggested
"Hmm nah I'd take Hayley more for a disney type" Ava said
"Hmm" i smiled "romantic does sound nice"
"Omg Hayleys in love" Maddie teased
"What? No I'm not!" I argued
"The way you reacted suggests otherwise" Jess smiled. "Who is he?" Ava demanded "guys.. what are you talking about?" I said "your thinking about someone.. and your smiling, your in llloooovvvveee" Jess said raising her eyebrows "oh! Thats who your mysterious phone call was during dinner!" Maddie yelled  "no! Im n-" i was interrupted "Hey girls, we are gonna start walking down to the lodge in 10, ok?" A beautiful soft yet raspy voice said. It was Demi "ok Thanks" Maddie said. After Demi closed the door and left the girls looked at me, I didn't even realise I was biting my lip and smiling "oh my god. Do you like Demi?!" Maddie almost screamed "that would make sense! Thats why your rude to her."
"Hey! I'm not rude to her!" I shouted
"No? Okay then what about when you told her she looked fat in the lake when we were swimming earlier?" Jess asked
"Well-" I started
"Or when we were walking to archery and she was talking to some other kids and you mimicked her and told her to shut the fuck up. She wasn't even talking to you" Maddie laughed
"I-" i started
"or when we were at archery and the lady was demonstrating how to use a bow and arrow and you aimed it at Demi and almost let go of the arrow!" Maddie joined in
"...ok I did do that." I mumbled "but guys really, I don't like Demi, that'd be weird she's like 6 years older then me and anyway. Im not into girls" i was able to reason with them and put the whole idea to bed and no one brought it up again, thank god. I don't like Demi Why would I? With her beautiful brown puppy eyes, her billion dollar smile, the way she cares about everyone and sexy wavy hair and her angel spine chilling voice...Do I like Demi?
"There you go Maddie" Ava said looking proud "wow looks awesome thank you Ava" Maddie said admiring her hairdo.
"Ok we better get going" Jess said
"Yeah you guys go I'll catch up with you" i said "are you sure? We don't mind waiting" Maddie said "yeah nah it's fine I'll only be a minute" i insisted

After the girls left I went over to my bed and grabbed the blade from under my pillow and hid it in the pocket of my phone case. I needed to numb these feelings, I figured the perfect time would be during the movie nobody would notice I was gone.

I caught up to the girls and we walked into the movie room.
"Woow" we all gasped it was magical. I looked around, the aroma of the popcorn machine filled the air, there was fairy lights and lanterns and a warm fire crackling, Coloured bean bags and chairs and fuzzy blankets and lollie bags all over the floor. Holy moly someone really out did themselves. This was incredible.
Everyone sat down and as late comers came in every one had the same reaction.

"Ok now that we have everyone here it's time to pick a movie. But I think i have a crowd favourite" Matt said rather excited pulling out The lion king. I didn't really care what we watched, I didn't plan on staying for the whole movie anyway.

Everyone seemed ok with the Lion king and he put the movie in he's laptop and it started playing off a projector connected to the ceiling. The room was about the size of a stadium so I made sure I got a seat near the exit so I could quietly leave.
