I Need a Doctor~Nine Percent

Midnight

"Well that was unexpected..." Replied Taeyong, his voice tinged with surprise.

"Now, Taeyong, same question for you," Xiao began, his Yaksha mask fading away as he spoke, his tone impatient. "How are you going to make it up to Y/N after all the mistakes you've made, both past and present?"

Taeyong sighed, his expression heavy with regret. "These past few months have been chaotic. I just want to be there for her, to support her. I want to make up for the time we've lost, but the concerts, the promotions—they can't stop. I have to prioritize my fans and the NCT members too." He glanced at his watch, his eyes reflecting a deep sadness. "I still care about her. It's just... so hard to find time to spend with her."

Xiao sniffed in response, his grip tightening on his jade spear. Taeyong's eyes widened, bracing himself for an attack. But instead, Xiao dropped to his knees, his spear clattering to the ground as he broke into uncontrollable sobs on the rain-soaked road.

"I can't kill you!" Xiao cried, his voice trembling. "The truth is, I see you every day with the girl I'm in love with too. I envy you, Taeyong!" he admitted, his voice raw with emotion.

"Huh?" Taeyong blinked, taken aback.

"I envy the way she loves you because she truly cares about you," Xiao confessed, his voice cracking. "At first, I thought you were just like those people who would throw her away or mistreat her. But I was wrong. You've messed up, yes, but in the end, you two always find your way back to each other." He sighed, looking away. "I've seen the way you look at her, the way you love her. I've even imagined myself in your place."

"I never knew you felt this way," Taeyong said softly, his voice filled with understanding.

"She thinks about you more than anyone else, despite everything," Xiao continued, his voice tinged with bitterness. "Though, at this point, I think she loves us both..." His voice trailed off, leaving the words hanging in the air.

"I—" Taeyong began, but Xiao cut him off.

"Congratulations, you've finally earned my respect," Xiao said, extending his hand to Taeyong. "And I'm sorry for being jealous. Just remember, we both love her." With that, Xiao drove his glowing jade spear into the asphalt and bowed deeply in apology.

Suddenly, a shot rang out from above, followed by sinister laughter echoing through the darkness. Taeyong collapsed into Xiao's arms, his body limp. Tears streamed down Xiao's face as he cradled the idol, his expression a mix of betrayal and sorrow.

"Why if it isn't the new Autobot warrior Alatus! Be sure to tell Optimus that the Decepticons have returned!" Hissed another Decepticon soldier from the dark. It was Starscream.

From the shadows, Megatron and a hooded Decepticon warrior emerged, their sinister smiles illuminated by the bloody moonlight. "Well, if it isn't the new Autobot warrior, Alatus," sneered Starscream, his voice dripping with malice. "Be sure to tell Optimus that the Decepticons have returned!"

"Who are you calling an Autobot, demon?!" Xiao snarled, donning his Yaksha mask. He summoned a rain of jade spears, but the enemy vanished before he could strike.

As Xiao seethed, a shadowy figure appeared, unleashing an icy blast and blue flames at the retreating Decepticons. Xiao growled in frustration, his anger directed at the enemies.

Seconds later

"Help! Someone, please help!" a voice cried out from the distance.

Tomo and Kazuha rushed to open the spaceship's ramp, their eyes widening at the scene before them. Xiao struggled to carry Taeyong's unconscious body across the rain-drenched road. Inside the ship, NCT and some BTS members stood frozen in horror at the sight of their leader.
