We haven't heard from Adam for the past two weeks, since he came to our house. I'm not sure what his intentions are, he sounded deadly serious about wanting to be in Sara's life and now he does the same thing again, forgets about her. That's only for the better of course. Stevie is still tense about it and I try not to mention anything, but I honestly hate the guy and from time to time I mention something about what he said. She ignores it or tells me to shut up. She's been extra lost in her journal lately and I let her, she lets out all of her emotions and I know for sure she won't just explode one day, we don't need that.
Stevie put Sara to sleep and without a word locked herself in the bathroom for one of her long baths. I hate seeing her so worked up, even if she doesn't speak a word of Adam, I know she's still thikning about him and what he told her that day. I hate that we never can truly be happy, we always have someone standing in our way.
I'm in bed, reading, when she comes out at last. “I hope that’s not my journal.”
“I wouldn’t dare. You’d kill me!”
“Damn right. If anyone got a hold of it and sold it to the press, they’d be billionaires overnight. Not as much as my secrets are interesting, but there are some pretty big names mentioned in there as well.”
“If people get tired of Fleetwood Mac, you could release your journal as a book.”
“You wouldn’t want me to do that, Linds.” She grins at me.
“Did I really expect to be left out of it…”
“Better help me.”
“With what, angel?” I get out of bed without getting an answer and take the bottle of lotion she's handing to me.
“Rub this in?”
“Where?”
“My back. I’ll manage the rest.”
“Oh no, I wouldn’t want you to go to all that trouble.” I smirk, motioning for her to lie down.
She rolls her eyes and lies down on her stomach. “Please, don’t be a pervert.”
“So I won’t get smacked, I’ll ask. Do I lift your night gown up or do I slide it off?”
“I let you pick.” I put the lotion on the bed beside me, while she waits. I ease the straps of her nightie down and then strip the material off of her body. “I knew it.”
I laugh and straddle her legs. I take the lotion and warm some of it in my palms, then slowly start working it in her skin. This feels really good to both of us I think, perfect way to release all the tension from her body. I don’t think she realizes she's letting out short, almost audible moans.
“Enjoying it, babe?”
“Yes. You should have better been a masseur, Lindsey.”
“Are you saying I’m a shit guitarist? I bet you enjoy my fingers, when…”
“I get it! No need to elaborate. Gee…”
I climb off of her laughing. “Right. Where else does this have to go in you?”
“You can do my legs.” I take her legs in each of my hands, she lifts her head up and turns to face me. “What are you going to do exactly?”
“Fuck you from behind, Stephanie.” I say with a serious expression. “Relax, I was… adjusting you.”
“Remember, I’m quite naked.”
“I can see that and what exactly are you hiding from me?”
