~Hitoshi's POV~
I slowly open my eyes.
"Hey Hitoshi! Glad to see you're awake and refreshed!" Kaminari says, pushing me back down.
"How long have I been asleep?" I ask.
His face grows grim.
"Two years."
"What!?" I yell, sitting quickly.
He laughs loudly.
"W-Wow dude! You're... that gullible!?" He asks, wiping tears from his eyes.
"You idiot!" I yell, grabbing a pillow and hitting him in the face hard, making him fall off my bed.
"How long have I really been asleep?" I ask.
"Few hours. It's 8 at night now. You seemed to be having a nightmare around noon, but then went back to normal." He says, a small blush falling on his cheeks as he smiles warmly at me.
"Yeah." I say, rubbing the back of my neck. "Sorry you had to stay back from school."
"Well as long as you're okay, I'm fine with staying back." He says, smiling wider.
"Stop smiling so much." I say.
"Why not?" He asks, standing up and sitting on the bed next to me.
"B-Because!" I snap, crossing my arms and looking away, biting back a small smile.
"Wait-- Are you smiling!?" He asks, trying to look at me.
"G-Go away!" I say, trying to push him away from me.
"Aw! You are!" He says.
He moves onto sitting on my lap and grabs my chin, forcing me to look him in the eyes.
He let's go and I can't help but smile as he smiles at me, eyes electric looking.
"I love you." He says.
My eyes widen and my face reddens.
"W-What?" I exclaim.
"I. Love. You." He says, pointing at his heart then resting his hand over my own. "Your hearts beating so fast. And your face is so red. Are you, perhaps, in love?"
"Idiot." I say, pushing his hand away from me.
He just smiles. "Well?" He asks.
"So what if I am!?" I snap. "I don't even know what love feels like."
"So you think you love me?" He asks.
"I... I think so." I say. "Ah! I don't know! I don't know... love! I've only ever loved my mother, and she left me! Who's to say you won't as well!?"
My eyes widen as a pair of lips rest on mine.
A warm feeling fills my chest and I can feel my face heat up.
