Mind Breaker- Chapter 26

~Hitoshi's POV~

I open my eyes and struggle with sitting up.

A groan escapes my lips as the bright light hits my eyes.

"Hitoshi!"

I look over at Aizawa.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say, rubbing my eyes.

"Good." He sighs.

"How long have I been asleep?" I ask, looking around.

I couldn't see the window because of the curtains around my bed.

"Few hours. It's Lunch right now." Aizawa says.

"Great." I say, flopping back down.

"Right. Your uniform is on that chair. And here..." He hands me Nico. "Is your wretched cat."

"What'd he do?" I ask, noticing the scratches on his face and hands.

"When he saw you, I'm guessing he thought you were hurt. When I tried picking him up, he started scratching me. He finally went to sleep."

I look at Nico.
His eyes are open and he's meowing.

"I'm fine Neeks." I say, holding him close.

"Right. I'm gonna let you change." Aizawa stands up and walks out of the curtains.

I sit Nico down and walk over to the chair with my uniform on it.

I quickly get changed, but freeze.

I slowly walk over to the mirror in the curtains.

Holy... holy shit.

My arm was... healed.

There was a long scar that wrapped around my arm, but other than that it was... completely healed.

A choke back sob comes from my lips as I collapse to my knees, head in my hands as I trie to stop the tears that streamed down my face relentlessly.

"Hitoshi?" I hear Aizawa ask.

A pair of arms wrap around me.

I turn and cry into my dads chest.

Soon I've calmed down.

"Are you okay?" Recovery Girl asks once I walk out.

"Th--... thank you." I say.

"It was my pleasure." She says. "Healing people is what I do."

"Seriously though. Thank... thank you." I say.
