"Finally..." Avi said as they stepped into the elevator alone. Kaleb and Noah had stayed in the hotel bar for one more drink and even though Avi really liked to spend time with them, he was looking forward to having some time on his own.

"Mmhm, you really are tired, huh?" Scott replied.

Avi looked at him with a small smile. "Yeah... sadly this, not a euphemism" he said softly.

Scott grinned. "I wouldn't mind it being a euphemism sometime in the future, but I can see that you're done for the day" he replied. "Shower and then sleep?"

Avi nodded. "Yes, sounds like a plan," he said and once the elevator stopped on their floor, he stepped outside and to their room. He fumbled with his pockets, cursing as he tried to find his keycard.

"Here, I got it." Scott pulled out his card and opened the door. "There you go..."

"Thanks..." Avi stepped into the room and took a pair of fresh boxer briefs. "Mind me showering first?"

"Not at all" Scott replied. "Do you want a cup of tea before bedtime?"

"That would be amazing, I've got peppermint tea in my bag, feel free to take whatever you want..." Avi replied as he stifled his yawn. He shook his head. "I'll be quick."

"Take your time," Scott said almost at the same time and smiled at the musician.

Fifteen minutes later Avi came back from the bathroom with his hair still damp. He was dressed in the bathrobe and smiled at Scott when he saw a cup of tea on his nightstand. "Thank you," he said.

Scott was just busy scrolling through his phone. "Oh you're welcome," he said and then put his phone away. "I'll shower, too, if you fall asleep before I get back..."

Avi smiled. "Won't happen unless you decide to shower for an hour."

Scott chuckled. "No, I'll be quick." He went into the bathroom and Avi was alone.

The musician sat down on the edge of the bed and tried the tea. It was really nice, soothed his throat and made him feel calm. He finished the tea within a few minutes while he texted his family and Kevin about the show and then rummaged through his suitcase once more, in search of his white box. He eyed it and sighed, wondering if he needed something to sleep, but then thought about being in Scott's arms and how soothing it usually was. No, maybe he could do without. He stowed the box away and laid down on the bed with his ebook reader in hand. He busied himself with reading because he didn't want to fall asleep before getting a good night kiss.

"Oh you're still awake," Scott said as he came back into the bedroom a few minutes later.

Avi looked up. "Yes, I am. Told you I'd wait for you. Thank you for the tea, by the way, it was really nice. Helped me calm down."

Scott put away the bathrobe and laid down on the other side of the bed. "Now, do you want to read some more, shall we put on a movie so you can sleep better?"

Avi sighed softly. "I don't think so. I'm tired, you're here... I'll be fine" he said and put his reading device away. He snuggled up into his blanket, facing Scott. "Good Night..."

Scott moved closer to him and kissed him softly. "Good night, dear Avi," he said. He laid down comfortably on his back and opened his arms. "Come here?"

"Mmhm..." Avi snuggled up to Scott and sighed. "Alarm?"

Scott hummed. "Yeah... we need to be on the bus at 9, so we'll get up at 8 if you want some breakfast?"

"Mmhm, breakfast will be needed," Avi said. "And we can nap on the bus. But not cuddle, so, I am planning to do lots of it right now." He laid his head onto Scott's chest and sighed softly. "Mmhm, so good."

Scott chuckled softly. "Yeah, cuddle all you want," he said. "Lights out?" He smiled when he saw that Avi's eyes were already droopy.

"Mmhm" the musician simply hummed. "G'night Love."

Scott turned off the lights and pressed another soft kiss onto the top of his head before he closed his eyes as well.

The next morning was rather slow. Scott and Avi woke up at 8, got ready, had a quick breakfast in the restaurant and then met Kaleb and Noah outside at the tour bus.

"Good morning," Avi said, stifling a yawn.

"Or rather good night" Kaleb commented.

Avi shrugged his shoulders. "I'll go right back into my bunk. Which one is mine?"

"We haven't chosen, yet, take whichever you want" Noah informed him.

Avi nodded. "Okay." He turned around to Scott. "Can I leave you alone for now?"

Scott chuckled. "I'm not a child, Avi, of course. And I think that these two show me around. You go and rest."

Avi just smiled at him and then went into the back where four bunks were waiting for them. He chose the bottom left one, got comfortable with his headphones and a good audiobook and closed his eyes. He wasn't really tired, but still yearning for some time alone. Even though he loved being with Scott and had slept exceptionally good, he was glad to not be surrounded by people for the moment.

In the front of the bus, Scott was just looking around and finding out where the appliances were and then poured coffee for himself and the other men, while the driver got on the road to Atlanta where they would be playing the next concert.

Scott talked to Kaleb and Noah for a while then had his daily phone call with Esther and while Noah and Kaleb went back to their bunks to nap, Scott even managed to learn a little bit for the first exam he would be having.

"Hey..."

Scott looked up from his notes when he heard the familiar voice. "Avi..."

"Mmhm, am I interrupting something?" The bearded man asked.

Scott shook his head. "No, I feel like I will have more than enough time to learn in the next couple of days... we'll be on the bus for quite some time..."

Avi chuckled. "That's true. If you need any help, just let me know..."

"I will, but not now..." Scott replied and closed his books. He stretched his arms out over his head. "Tea?"

Avi nodded. "Mmhm, but I'll brew. Wanna play something? I brought some games. Yahtzee maybe?"

Scott smiled slightly. "Whatever will pass the time," he said and laid back as he watched the musician pour two cups of tea.

"Good" Avi replied. He returned with the two mugs and the things they needed to play and sat down opposite of Scott.

Scott took his mug and eyed the set of cards and then looked up at Avi. The musician looked back at him while he shuffled the cards. It was a look that told Scott so much. There was a mutual understanding that they would rather spend their time snuggled up than playing with dice. But it had to suffice for the time being and it actually was quite nice.
