"Oh wow, this is a really nice room," Scott said as he stepped into the hotel room he would be sharing with Avi for the next two nights.

Avi chuckled. "What else did you expect, Dear?" He asked. "I might not have high standards, I don't need luxury like gold or marble, I like a down to earth place. But I need a big comfy bed, a clean bathroom with a big shower or, even better, a tub and good room service" he explained. "But I am glad that you like it."

Scott shrugged his shoulders. "I usually stay in a cheap but nice hotel. Vacation is always on a budget for me" he explained. "And I get why you love this room. A lot of dark wood, forest colours..." He sat down on the bed. "And a big comfy bed..."

"Mmhm and I cannot wait to snuggle up with you. But I gotta shower first. Or you could go first and I can order some room service and call Esther quickly?"

Scott nodded. "Yeah, sounds like a plan. He suppressed a yawn. "So tired... I am so glad that you managed to get through the practice quickly."

Avi shrugged his shoulders. "Wasn't just us, you helped a lot. You knew where everything was, when we were searching for something, you told us to go on and got it. I feel like you were the one who worked the hardest tonight. I just strummed my guitar a little bit and sang some notes."

"Some notes? You..." Scott laughed. "You were wonderful up there. Even though this was only a rehearsal, you killed me honestly."

Avi chuckled. "Thank you. I guess that's just my voice. And today I felt really powerful. Must be the spirit of the tour beginning. I just hope that I'll be able to get through this tour without getting sick..."

Scott nodded. "Me too. Tour or not, I don't want you to get sick at all. But... what do you do when you're getting sick?"

Avi sighed. "Well, I'll drink a lot of tea and power through, from tour to tour basically" he explained. "It's always draining, but we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed that it won't happen."

Scott nodded. "True," he said. He watched how Avi unpacked his duffel bag and finally got up as well. He searched through his own bag for a pair of briefs and a shirt. "What are you wearing to sleep?" He asked Avi.

"Just briefs, if you're comfortable with it? I can wear a shirt, though..." Avi replied and scratched the back of his head. "Apart from that I love a comfy hotel bathrobe and always request some. This time a small one and one fit for a giant."

Scott chuckled. "Thank you," he said and then only took his briefs and his toiletries and went into the bathroom.

Forty minutes later, Avi and Scott were sitting at the small table in the corner of the room and were sharing wings, ribs, homemade fries and salad. "So good," Scott said.

Avi nodded. "Mmhm, whenever I am in Nashville I have to have dinner here. Usually, I go down to the restaurant, because it's really nice, but I couldn't be bothered tonight. I hope you don't mind."

Scott shook his head. "Going to the restaurant would mean getting dressed. And I am just realising why you love these bathrobes" he said and grinned at his boyfriend and took another wing. "Also, this way after dinner we just have to wash our hands and can lie down in bed with a movie..."

"Mmhm..." Avi hummed. "Sounds like heaven to me right now. We just have to agree on a movie."

Scott grinned back at him. "Well, I don't mind. Maybe we could continue watching Fantastic Beasts or Harry Potter..."

"Or Lord of the Rings?" Avi asked with a smug grin on his face.

Scott chuckled. "I thought you know these movies inside out?"

Avi bit his lower lip. "I do..."

Scott looked up at him and frowned. "What's up?"

"I... usually when I am away from home and not feeling good, I tend to watch Lord of the Rings, because... it's just comfortable."

Scott reached out and took Avi's hand in his own, not caring about the fact that they were greasy. "It helps you with anxiety?"

Avi nodded. "Yeah... it's just something I am comfortable with" he replied, taking Scott's hand into his own. "But... we can watch something else tonight, I mean, I am comfortable with you, so no need for it. Fantastic Beasts sounds wonderful, actually. Or Narnia. I love Narnia, too."

"We'll see what's available" Scott replied. He smiled and squeezed Avi's hand softly, before he let go again, eager to finish dinner and cuddle up with his boyfriend and a movie. In the end, he really didn't mind what they would be watching, as long as there were cuddles involved.

"Sweetheart?"

After a cuddly and cosy movie night in which they watched the first two Narnia movies, they fell asleep, Scott on his back and Avi snuggled up to him.

Now it was just past 8 in the morning and Scott felt Avi's arm heavy on his bladder. They still had four hours until they needed to be ready to go over to the concert location.

"Hmmm... just two more minutes" he could here from under the blankets.

The blonde smiled fondly. "You can have two more hours, Avi, I just need to go to the bathroom real quick."

"Nooo, you're warm and comfy" Avi protested. "Don't go away."

"I'll be back before you can miss me," Scott said and carefully slid out of the bed. He went into the bathroom, did his business and finally used some mouthwash, just to be sure. When he came back into the bedroom, he found Avi looking at him.

"Oh, someone is awake," Scott said softly, smiling at the bearded man.

Avi nodded. "Yeah. The bed is cold without you. Get up or cuddle some more?"

Scott smiled at him. "Cuddle? And maybe another nap? It's going to be a long day, especially for you." He laid back down and spooned the musician, pressing a soft kiss onto the back of his neck. "Like this?" He asked since it was the first time they were cuddling like this.

"Mmhm..." Avi hummed. He shifted a little bit to get comfortable inside Scott's arms. "We do have an alarm set, right?"

"We do, nap if you want to," Scott said and yawned. He got comfortable and smiled happily when he breathed in the soft coconut scent of Avi's hair as he fell asleep again."
