"We're finally going home today, Scott! Can you believe it?"

Scott smiled at his happy boyfriend. "I can and I am so looking forward to it. And I'm seeing Mitch again today!"

They were sitting in their hotel room in Las Vegas over breakfast. It was still early, they had had a short night, but the thought of a nap on the bus and being in their own beds in the evening helped them power through the morning.

Avi smiled at the blonde man. "I get that. I'm looking forward to seeing him, too. Need to hug him real tight and thank him for what he has done for me. Is there any way to thank him? A dinner maybe?"

Scott smiled. "He enjoyed the BBQ immensely," he explained. "But then again, he doesn't expect anything from you. He likes helping people."

Avi smiled. "That's nice. I believe that he does, but then again I don't want to take his help for granted, you know."

Scott nodded. "I get that," he said and looked at his watch.

"Do we have enough time for a fresh round of tea?" Avi wanted to know.

Scott nodded. "Yes, we do," he said. "We need to leave in forty minutes." He stifled a yawn. "Who on earth planned three shows in a row right at the end of the tour anyway. And then Las Vegas right in the middle and your hometown show at the end. We could've enjoyed a lazy day at home today and then do the last show tomorrow..."

"Well, it doesn't always work out as you want it because of the bookings. And we had a day off before the last show last time. And I like it better this way because the energy was rather low. It's like my body was already in vacation mode but then I had to gear up for the last show. I'd rather do it this way. We'll go from here right to the venue in LA, play the show, have a little get together and then we all go home and have our vacation. It just works better that way."

Scott nodded. "I get that," he said. "Now... what were you planning on doing with your first day off? I get that you may need to be on your own, after all, we've been together for so long now and..."

Avi smiled at his boyfriend. "I don't want to be selfish, Scott, but I would love to take you home with me tonight. We've indeed been together for quite some time now, but still, I miss being close to you. And..."

Scott saw that his boyfriend was blushing, so he took his hand and squeezed it softly. "Out with it. No need to be shy."

"I want to go all the way with you, Scott," Avi said.

Scott smiled. He felt thrown back into his teenage years, where this discussion has been huge. Yet, he knew that to Avi it seemed to be huge even now. "I like the sound of this. We definitely can, if you feel like this is something you want."

"I've been wanting it for a while now, but I just didn't feel comfortable in a hotel room? If this makes sense?" Avi asked.

"It makes perfect sense, Avi. You'll be most comfortable at home" Scott said. "But there's no need to be nervous," Scott said.

"But I've never bottomed before. The one night stands I had... I always topped. It was easier. I'm glad that I get to have this first time with you, but it feels huge, Scott" Avi said, looking down at his hands.

"It might feel that way, Avi. But we've got time. There's no pressure. No schedule. It's just you and me" Scott said softly. "And if you don't want to bottom that's fine with me. I tried both and both felt nice in its own way."

"I want to try, Scott. Want to know what it feels like and if I might like it" Avi explained.

"Good. That's very good and I am glad that you're speaking your mind. In this case, we'll try it out. And I am glad that I get to be your first" Scott said.

Avi smiled. "So it's set? Tonight?"

Scott chuckled. "If you're up for it, we'll try it tonight," he said and leaned over the table to softly kiss Avi's lips.

"Welcome to Los Angeles" Kaleb cheered when he saw the road sign. "Finally!"

Avi, who was dozing in Scott's arms, opened one eye. "Already? That means I have to go and get ready..."

"Oh I doubt we'll be at the location for another thirty minutes," Scott said softly. "Doze some more."

Avi smiled up at his boyfriend. "Okay. But only because you're so comfy."

In the end, it was forty minutes later when Miles parked the bus behind the location and opened the doors for the four men to get out. Since they had already packed up their stuff, it was easy for them to carry everything outside, because Miles would be taking the bus back to the company immediately.

"Are you going to come back to the show?" Avi asked. "There will be some good food and drinks involved afterwards and I know for a fact that you don't have to drive tonight."

Miles nodded. "Of course I'll be coming back to see the show and to have a drink or two," he said.

"Good" Avi smiled. "So we'll see you later. Bye, Miles."

Scott quickly bid their driver goodbye, too and then turned around, gasping when he saw that Mitch was already waiting. "Mitchy!"

The smaller man smiled and came over to him, hugging him tightly. "Hey, Scotty."

"What are you already doing here?" Scott asked.

Mitch shrugged his shoulders. "Got the day off and you said I could come over for soundcheck" he explained. "So here I am."

Scott hugged him once more. "I'm so glad that you're here. I missed you."

"I missed you too," Mitch said.

Scott let go of his best friend and looked at him up and down. "You're looking good. New haircut?"

Mitch nodded. "New haircut indeed. And a shopping spree courtesy of my new head designer salary."

"No way. They promoted you? You replaced your boss?"

"Yep. Apparently, he sexually harassed some of the female designers. I don't know what happened, I only know that he's been fired and I replaced him. So I still do commercial work, but on my terms" Mitch explained.

Scott pressed a kiss on Mitch's temple and hugged him once more. "I'm so proud of you."

"Don't let your boy see you kiss another guy?" Mitch said bemused when he saw that Avi was joining them.

"The boyfriend doesn't mind as long as it's his best friend," Avi said with a smile on his face. "Hello, Mitch. It's so good to see you." They hugged as well and Avi held on just a little longer. "Thank you for everything you did for me."

Mitch smiled and shook his head. "As long as you're getting better?"

Avi nodded. "I already am better and I think that the therapy will help me even more" he explained. "Now come on, let's head inside and get this last show going."

While they were doing soundcheck an hour later, Mitch and Scott were standing in the audience space of the theatre, listening to Avi, Noah and Kaleb play.

"Are you coming home tonight?" Mitch asked after a while.

Scott smiled slightly and shook his head. "No... Avi invited me over..." he said while he watched his boyfriend sing Sweet Adeline. How fitting. He smiled when his eyes met Avi's. He was happy to finally be at home, happy that they finally got to spend some more time as a couple. Four weeks off, just for them. No mandatory work, nothing.
