When Avi finished the song, Mia applauded him. "Still loving this song," she said.

Avi just chuckled. "Come here," he said and waited for her to get up the stage while he put his guitar away.

They hugged for a very long time, while Scott was watching them, smiling brightly. He wasn't jealous at all, quite the opposite was the case: He was glad that she was so supportive, that they were still such good friends.

They seemed to be talking quietly and Scott decided to busy himself with other things, so it wouldn't seem as if he was listening in.

"You're looking good," Mia said as they let go of one another. "A little tired though."

Avi nodded. "Yeah. I am a little tired" he said with a smile on his face. "Just tour stuff and some other things. I'll tell you later. Shall we head to our dressing room for a cup of tea?"

Mia nodded. "Sure," she said.

Avi smiled. "Scott? We're having tea now if you're not busy?"

Scott, who had been talking to Kaleb, turned around and nodded. "Sure," he said. "I'll be with you in a few."

"Good," Avi said and went backstage with Mia.

"So..." Mia said while she was looking through the teabox. "What else is new? It's been a while since we talked."

Avi sighed. "Well..." he began. "I had a rough patch with my anxiety." He then proceeded to tell her everything about his anxiety and drug abuse.

Mia just listened. "That's a lot" she finally said. "I'm glad to hear you got better, though."

"Me too" Avi replied. "And it's mainly thanks to Scott that I am feeling better." He shrugged his shoulders.

Mia chuckled. "Speak of the devil," she said when Scott entered the room.

"Devil? Me?" Scott asked, surprised. "Why? What did I do?"

Avi chuckled. "Nothing, really," he said and handed him his mug of tea. "Here you are, Love. Shall we sit down?"

"Sure" Mia was first to sit down, she smiled when Avi sat down next to Scott and pecked his cheek softly, before looking back at Mia. "So, how's your life been?"

Mia smiled. "Wonderful. And stressful. I've been promoted."

"No more writing stupid articles about stars who might be pregnant?" Avi asked amused.

"No, I now get to supervise everything. It's one more step forward" Mia replied and when she saw how confused Scott looked, she chuckled. "I work for an online news portal. Right now I am doing VIPs, but I want to change and write about fashion."

"That's interesting," Scott said. "My best friend is an aspiring designer. Well, he is already working as one, but he wants to be independent in the future."

"Uuuh, what's his name?" Mia asked.

"Mitch Grassi."

"Really? I follow him on Instagram and I love his style. Right now he's doing more commercial things, right?" Mia asked.

"Yeah, but part-time he is working on his own designs. If you ever want to get an interview or anything, just let me know. I'll drop your name anyways" Scott explained, smiling at the young woman.

"That would be nice. Only if he wants though... he seems to be kind of aloof sometimes" Mia said.

"Aloof? Mitch?" Avi couldn't help but laugh. "Seriously? Mia, he's one of the kindest people I know. Very attentive. He knew that I am dealing with social anxiety almost immediately. And he's been helping me so much. He's part of the reason while I am now Scott's boyfriend. I was too anxious to try and get with him, but Mitch helped and I am glad to call him a friend as well. You should contact him, he's awesome."

Scott smiled. He was happy that Avi and Mitch were getting along that well and he hoped that it would be the same for himself and Mia.

"It was so nice of you to invite us over, Mia. I'm sorry that we have to leave already..." It was the next morning and Avi and Scott had had some breakfast at her place before driving over to Portland for the next show.

"You're welcome. I'm always happy when I get to spend some time with you" Mia replied. "You have a nice rest of the tour. Try to take it easy."

Avi smiled. "We will. After all, we'll have two days off in Visalia, which we'll spend with my family and in the woods. I might take Scott to see some sequoias." He smiled slightly.

"You should," Mia said. "Now... goodbye. I hope I'll see you soon."

They all hugged each other tight and then it was time for Avi and Scott to leave.

"And?" Avi asked once they were on the street, walking towards the meeting point they had arranged with Miles.

"She's amazing," Scott said. "I get why you married her." He spoke quietly, even though they were alone.

Avi chuckled. "She is wonderful. I might have lost my wife back then, but I gained a friend for life."

"That's true. And she's a lot of fun. She told me you like Marvel movies?" Scott asked with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, I do. Why-" Avi saw the smirk on his boyfriend's face. "Seriously? She told you about Chris Hemsworth?" He blushed slightly.

Scott chuckled. "She did. And I find it very endearing" he said. "I crush on celebrities all the time... McSexy from Greys Anatomy was one crush for example and oh my god, right now it's Jason Momoa."

"Game of Thrones?" Avi asked with a smirk on his face.

"Mmhm and Aquaman. Basically every opportunity to see him shirtless" Scott replied and grinned.

Avi bit his lower lip. "I get that," he said. "He's Daddy material."

"Mmhm so are you" Scott replied.

Avi blushed once more. "I'm tiny..."

"Yes, you're smaller than I am and you're thinner than I am," Scott said. "But with your majestic beard and your deep voice... not into the Daddy kink at all, but if I were I'd call you Daddy."

Avi chuckled. "Let's go with handsome?"

Scott nodded. "Handsome it is." He smiled when he saw the bus already waiting for him. "Shall we watch a movie on our way to Portland?"

"If you say, Thor..." Avi began, but one look at Scott showed him that this was exactly what his boyfriend was planning to do. "Fine, but you're on tea duty."

Scott shrugged his shoulders. "Fine with me."

"And we're watching Aquaman tonight or tomorrow!"

Scott grinned. "Fine with me."
