"So, Landon, this is the stage. I will be standing right up there later" Avi explained. It was the next day and they were already in Austin for the concert.
Usually Avi would be napping backstage or be doing some interviews or other things, but he enjoyed being around Scott's family too much. He was well-rested thanks to some good sleep, he was in a good mood and just looking forward to spending the day with his boyfriend and his family, especially because Scott would stay with his parents for another night before going back to LA for exams. He would only join them again four or five days later.
Avi didn't like the idea of having to get through three concerts without his boyfriend, but for the time being he pushed the thoughts away and focused on the day ahead. And for the moment the day consisted of himself showing Landon around the venue. Landon was looking around and Avi was squatting behind him.
"It's a big stage," Landon said as he looked around. "Can I go up there?"
Avi chuckled. "Right now we can do almost anything," he said. "Can I carry you? There are a lot of cables up there and I don't want you to fall."
"Yes!!!"
Avi chuckled when the little boy cheered and picked him up carefully. "Okay. Next stop, the stage!" He walked with him up the stage and showed him around for a while, explained to him where he would be watching the show and promised him that he would wave at him during the concert.
"Avi? It's almost time for soundcheck."
Avi turned around and smiled when he saw Scott. "Already?"
"Mmhm... I take it you had a good time?" Scott kissed his boyfriend's cheek first and then the top of Landon's head.
"We did" Avi said and smiled at his boyfriend. "Oh and I promised him a spot in the first row for the soundcheck."
Scott chuckled. "Well then, how about first row on my shoulders?"
Landon giggled. "Yes, Uncle Tott!"
"Good." Scott took his nephew from his boyfriend. "Do you want to have a cup of tea first? The other's will be here in five..."
Avi grinned. "Well, how about I sing a song with you on stage? That's even better than the first row."
Landon gasped. "Can you do that?"
Avi grabbed a guitar and tuned it quickly. "Of course I can. Any special wishes?"
"A nice song" Landon said.
Avi just smiled and started playing his guitar, looked his boyfriend in the eyes when he started to sing: "Sweet Adeline, apple of my eye, Sweet Adeline, oh won't you be mine..."

"How did you like the concert?" Avi asked when Scott and Landon came back into the dressing room.
"Amazing!" Landon said and looked at Avi with tired eyes.
"It's been a long day, buddy, hmm?" Avi said softly.
Scott smiled when Landon closed his eyes. "A very long day" he said. "Dad is driving home with him as soon as most of the visitors are gone. But he wanted to see you once more."
"Wanted another story with dragons" Landon said tiredly. "Please..."
Avi nodded. "Of course" he said. "Do you want to sit down on the sofa with me?"
"Mmhm..."
Scott nodded and put his nephew down. He smiled when he laid against Avi's side and looked at him. "Tell me about the dragons?"
