"Avi? Hold on, you can sit down in just a moment" Scott said softly as he walked his boyfriend into the dressing room. "Babe, are you okay?" He asked.
"So weak" Avi mumbled and was happy when Scott let him sit down on the sofa.
"Do you need anything right now, Avi? Tea? Water? Some food?" Scott asked softly.
But Avi just shook his head. "Tired..."
Scott wanted to say something, but a soft knock on the door cut him off. "Yes?"
"It's just me, Jenny. Can I come in?"
Scott was a little relieved to hear her voice and to know that she wanted to take care of Avi. "Of course."
She entered the room and looked at Avi. "I saw that he wasn't feeling well and wanted to take a look, just to make sure that it's nothing major." The young paramedic sat down next to Avi. "Hey, Avi. Remember me?"
Avi opened his eyes and nodded slightly. "Mmhm, you helped me."
Jenny smiled. "That I did. And I just wanted to make sure that you're alright."
Avi shook his head. "I am. Just tired."
"You probably are," Jenny said. "A panic attack is hard work for the body. But when you left the stage I felt that your circulation was failing and I just want to make sure that your blood pressure and blood sugar are okay. If you let me?"
Avi turned towards Scott, who nodded, so he agreed, albeit reluctantly.
So Jenny took his blood pressure and blood sugar quickly, which Avi just let happen.
"Okay. As expected both sugar and pressure are a little low. I would advise you to drink some black or green tea if you have any handy? Or ask at the bar?"
Scott smiled. "We have something. I'll make it a strong one. And the blood sugar?"
"I have some hard candies with me which I'll give him. He should be good enough to get somewhere he can rest. Are you staying in town?" Jenny asked while she rummaged through her bag.
"We're staying in town," Scott replied. "We'll have to find a way to get him out of the building without fans noticing. He usually goes out there for hugs and pictures."
"We can drive you. We have a car here and if it helps, we can get him in there and to your hotel on our way back to the station" Jenny mused.
Scott hummed. "Don't you need to be ready to take real emergencies?"
"No. We do these concerts voluntarily and since nothing bad has happened, we just go back to the station and home" Jenny explained while she unpacked a fruity candy and held it out to the brunette. "Here, Avi, this will help you feel better."
"Thank you" Avi mumbled and sighed when he tasted the sweet orangy candy.
"Your tea is almost done, too. I'll put it in your travel mug so you can sip it while we're on our way to the hotel" Scott explained.
"Mmmh" Avi hummed. "But the fans."
Scott sighed. "You are in no position to go out there and talk to them," he said. "We're going to the hotel and there you'll sleep!"
"But..."
"No, but, Avi. We'll talk to the fans."
Avi turned to the door and sighed when he saw Kaleb and Noah standing there. "But..."
"No, but," Jenny said. "I get that it is hard to not go out there, but you have to take care of yourself first. I don't want you to pass out while you're giving autographs. It's either the hotel or the hospital. Your choice."
