It was 10:30 the next day when Scott entered the studio building and looked around, taking in the atmosphere. The entrance room seemed warm and cosy, there were  and the a lot of dark wooden elements ans the primary colours were green and brown.

He walked up to the reception but there was no one there. Just a little bell which he ringed and then waited.

His day so far had been interesting. He had met Chloe in person and learned a lot of basic things about the record company and had signed a ton of documents including a non-disclosure agreement, stating that he couldn't share anything about the music and the artists he would be working with. Then, Chloe had showed him the headquarters of the record company and, after a coffee break, had shown him how to get to the studio Avi was working in.

"Unfortunately I need you to go alone, Scott, I have another appointment in ten minutes. But it was so nice to meet you. If you need anything, please let me know. And don't worry about working with Avi, he's a nice guy." With these words and a quick hug she had left him to fend for himself.

"Can I help you, kiddo?"

Scott was pulled out of his thoughts by a big burly man, who was wearing security gear. "Oh, um... yeah, I am looking for Avi Kaplan?"

The security looked at him up and down. "And? You expect me to show you where he is?"

"I..." Scott stammered. "I... was hoping so? I'm an intern... my name is Scott Hoying."

"Oh yes, Chloe called me and told me that you were coming in. I'm Austin by the way. Sorry for being a little gruff, we get a lot of fans coming here asking to see their idol..." The security explained. "Now...  I need to take your picture for your access card... wonderful."

Scott smiled when he saw that Austin had taken a camera and took his picture. He hoped that he looked halfway decent and not like a complete trainwreck.

"Good, you'll get a temporary access card for today and by tomorrow, I should have your own one. Here you go." Austin handed Scott a little card and smiled at him. "Don't loose this and give it back tonight, okay?"

Scott nodded and took the card. "Thank you. Now... where do I need to go?"

"Easy" Austin replied. "Just follow the corridor, and take the last door on the right. Studio 3 it is and there should be a note on the door that says Kevin Olusola is in there. For safety reasons we put up the names of the producers and not the actual musicians. Just knock and wait to be called in, just in case they're recording. But I told Kevin that you're coming."

Scott smiled. "Studio 3, Kevin Olulosa" he replied. "Thank you."

"Olusola, but yes, that's correct. Have fun."

"I will" Scott took a deep breath and then followed Austin's instruction. The corridor was rather long, but finally he arrived at studio 3 and found the note saying that a Kevin Olusola was working in there. So he knocked softly and waited.

It took a good two minutes and Scott was debating to knock again when the door was opened and a tall dark skinned man smiled at him. "Hi there, I'm Kevin, sorry that we made you wait, we were just in the middle of a recording. Come on in. Scott, right? It's good to have you here."

The warm and friendly aura radiating from this man made Scott feel better in an instant. Even if Avi's music wasn't his cup of tea, maybe he would at least go along well with Kevin.

"Yeah, I'm Scott Hoying. Thank you for letting me watch you work" Scott replied as he followed Kevin inside.

"Sure. Why don't you sit down. We're just finishing a song, but I'll definitely explain a few things afterwards and-"
