Un anno dopo...
HARRY:
La mia piccola sta bene, è completamente guarita ed è splendida.
Sono in giardino con la chitarra sotto braccio, ho una melodia in testa ma non so decifrarne le parole.
«Buongiorno papà!» mi si riempie il cuore di gioia ogni volta in cui vedo quegli occhioni verdi puntati su di me «Ciao principessa» la bacio sulla fronte.
Ash ci raggiunge con un vassoio in mano e in costume da bagno «Hey ho preparato la colazione»-«Si!!» esclamiamo io e Melodie, «Voglio l anguria» dice «Tesoro mangia le fragole per oggi»-«Ma non hanno lo stesso sapore!»
"Taste like strawberries .." penso tra me e me, prendo il foglio e scrivo.
È già qualcosa. Finiamo di fare colazione «Noi prendiamo il sole» dice Ash, annuisco sorridendo.
La guardo stesa a bordo piscina. Perfetta come la prima volta in cui l'ho vista.
