Chapter 8~Gayu's proposal to Kartik?

Naira went to the room and saw everyone getting ready!

"What happened? Are we going somewhere? And why is Gayu di, ready like this?" Naira asked confused

"And you are still not ready? Naira, woh rishta lekar aa rahe hain na!" Akshara said

"For Gayu di? Who mumma?"

"Goenk....!"

"Bahu, is Gayu ready? They might be coming anytime soon!" Devyani called

"Show me the picture of my to be jiju na!" Naira said teasing Gayu

"Naira beta, we don't have so much time! Now they will be coming anytime, that time you see okay?" Karishma said softly

"Haan beta! Now you go and get ready fast." Akshara said and Naira went to her room

"I am so scared! There, my Kartik is also going to meet some girl, and here someone is coming for Gayu di! What should I do now?" Naira said herself as she was getting ready till then she got a call from Kartik

"Jaan, will you come with me? And in that way you can meet my family also!" Kartik said as she answered

"No Kartik, someone is coming for my sister also, so now mumma will not let me go anywhere!" Naira replied

"Okay jaan, don't worry, I am anyways going to say no for this marriage!" Kartik assured her

"I know! Here I didn't even see the pic, everyone were like he is so handsome, but I know that no one can be more handsome than my mendak!"

"Yes! Jaan I have to go now, everyone are calling me down! Love you jaan! Bye." Kartik said

"Love you too! Bye." Naira kept the call

"Naira are you ready? Come fast! And please help Gayu with her hair and makeup na!" Akshara called

"Coming mumma!" Naira said and went to her room

"Haaye, she is looking so beautiful! Surely my jiju will fall for you!" Naira teased her as she was setting her dupatta

"Naira!! Your time will also come, really soon! Your marriage, then I will see how my jiju is!" Gayu said which made Naira blush thinking about Kartik

"See, she is already blushing! I am sure she has found someone for herself in Rishikesh!" Ananya added

"Yeah, yesterday she was talking to him also! I love you and all haan." Gayu said

"Arrey! They are coming for Gayu di, why are you all teasing me! Now aren't you all getting late?" Naira said trying to change the topic

"Aww my sweet behna! You look so good when you blush!" Gayu said smiling

"By the way did you see my jiju?" Naira started teasing her more

"Yes she did! She was like, he is so handsome!" Ananya said, making Gayu blush

"He can't be more handsome than Kartik." Naira thought and smiled

"Will you all come down also? They all have come!" Kaveri called

They all came down while Gayu stayed up

"Have some snacks na suvarna ji!" Akshara said serving them

"Suvarna? I have heard this name somewhere! But where?" Naira was lost in her thoughts

"Naira come na, why are you standing here?" Ananya said and took her

As Naira went near the main hall, she was shocked to see her Kartik there! She didn't understand what was happening

"Why are you so shocked Naira?" Devyani said

"Choti maa, these both are best friends, they met in Rishikesh!" Akshara said smiling

"Wow! That's so good." Suvarna exclaimed

"What? Gayu's proposal was for Kartik? What should I do now? Bhagwaan ji aap yeh kyun kar rahe hain mere saath!" Naira thought

"The girl was Naira's sister? How can I marry her? Don't worry Kartik, you are anyways going to reject this na!" Kartik thought, as he sighed

"Look at this mendak! He is so calm!" Naira thought as she was glaring at Kartik

"My sherni, I didn't do anything!" Kartik made a pout face as he was thinking this

"If this proposal goes further na, then see what I will do to you Kartik!" Naira thought

"Will you both keep on staring at each other like this only? Kartik beta, sit na!" Akshara said bringing them back to reality

Naira started messaging Kartik

"Kartik, you better not accept this!"

"I won't jaan! Don't worry, I am married to you, and I only love you!" Kartik replied

"I love you too!"

Keerti signalled Kartik to keep his phone down!

"Wow, Naira you're best friend will be your jiju! That's so good!" Ananya whispered

"Good? Seriously? There is nothing good in that!" Naira replied slowly

"What did you say?"

"Nothing nothing!" Naira said and went inside

"So Kartik beta, what work do you do?" Naitik asked

"I help my dad in his work, Goenka groups of companies!" Kartik replied, as he was searching Naira

"Who are you looking for Kartik jiju? She will come soon!" Mishti started teasing

"Mishti! Shh, stay quiet!" Ananya said softly

"He is so excited to meet di!" Mishti said and Kartik smiled a bit

"Where did Naira go?" Kartik thought

"No no! I was just seeing." Kartik changed the topic

"So Suvarna ji, if you don't mind, can they both meet?" Akshara said softly

"Yeah sure Akshara ji!"

"Mishti, Ananya, take him upstairs!" Karishma said

"No no! I will take him and go, you both stay here!" Naira came and said

"Haan?" Everyone asked in a shocked way

"Its fine, you take him!" Akshara said smiling

Naira and Kartik went upstairs
