Chapter 17~Gayu went back?

All of them were sitting in the hall, doing all the other wedding preparations

And soon Gayu got a call, she checked the caller ID and it was Keerti

"Hello, Keerti!" Gayu spoke

"I hope Keerti manages to call Gayu back to Udaipur!" Kartik whispered Naira

"Don't worry Kartik, everything will be fine!" Naira assured, and smiled

"Hello Gayu! How are you?" Keerti asked

"I am fine, what about you?"

"I am good too, actually tomorrow our company has hosted a Jewellry exhibition, so you are invited for it!" Keerti said

"But then, I am in Rishikesh now!"

"Oh! But Gayu you should not miss this opportunity, it will really help you in your work!" Keerti said.

"Now what should I do? I really want to attend this exhibition, but here Kartik, Naira...." Gayu thought

"Gayu! So will you come?" She asked

Gayu had no other option, and finally gave in

"Umm, okay! Thank you for this opportunity!" Gayu said, making Kartik and Naira happy

"Sorry di! I didn't want to send you back like this, I am really sorry for this! But I was left with no other option." Naira thought

"Jaan, I know what you are thinking! Don't worry Naira, just like how Keerti accepted us both together, the whole family will too!" Kartik said smiling

"I hope so Kartik!" She replied and Gayu came

"Naira, actually I have to go to Udaipur today! I have an exhibition to attend!" Gayu said

"Oh no, it's okay di! All the best for your presentation!" Naira said smiling

"I will go and pack my bags." Gayu replied

"I will help you di!" Naira said and both of them went out

"One problem is solved now!" Kartik sighed in relief

"Yes we did it!" Karan said happily

"Excuse me! What do you mean by 'we'? You didn't do anything Karan, it was Kritika who helped us!" Kartik said

"Very wrong Kartik! And I did, or my babydoll, it's the same thing na!" Karan said smiling

"Accha ji! You are taking the credits for the whole plan huh?" Kartik said

"What plan Kartik?" Gayu came from the room

"Haan....woh nothing we were just planning for the wedding! Are you done with the packing?" Kartik tried to change the topic

"Yes! Kartik, actually I wanted to talk to you! Can we?" Gayu asked

Kartik looked at Kritika and Karan, he didn't know what to tell

"Kartik?" Gayu called getting him out of his thoughts

"Haan? I mean, okay fine!" Kartik said

Gayu and Kartik went out

"Kartik, listen..!" Naira came out of her room

"Where is Kartik? And Gayu di?" Naira asked

"Naira, Gayu said that she wanted to talk to Kartik, so they went!" Preeta said making Naira shocked

"And Kartik agreed? Today this mendak is so gone! What does Gayu di want to talk about?" Naira said

"I will go and see wait!" Karan said and went out

"Kartik, as you know that our families are deciding to get us married, I wanted to know your answer Kartik!" Gayu said

"Gayu, I already said that I am not yet ready to get married now! It's my family who wants this! So I really can't say anything now!" Kartik replied

"Then Kartik you can take your time, we will wait, instead of telling no!"

"What do you mean?" Kartik asked

"I don't know when this happened Kartik, but I love yo...." gayu spoke but got cut off by Karan

"Kartik, I just got a call from the decorators, so we need to reach the venue!" Karan said

"If Karan wouldn't have come, I would have confessed my feelings to Kartik today!" Gayu thought

"I am sorry Gayu, I need to leave now!" Kartik said

"Even I will take a leave then bye! Meet you soon!" Gayu said and hugged Kartik

Naira who was seeing all this, was getting jealous seeing Kartik and Gayu hugging each other

"It was nice having you here! Hope we meet soon." Kartik said smiling

"Accha? You are so dead today mendak!" Naira said angrily as she saw them

Soon Gayu left for the airport and all the four of them were sitting in the hall

"Thank god, everything is fine now!" Kartik said taking a seat

"No no, you toh enjoyed having Gayu di here na? And you really hope to meet her again huh?" Naira said angrily

"That was just formality jaan! I only and only love you!" Kartik said

"By the way you were getting jealous haan?" Kritika asked Naira

"Of course! And look at this mendak, in front of  his wife, he was trying to flirt with his wife's sister!" Naira said

Karan and Kritika were trying to control their laugh but failed

"Jaan, I wasn't flirting with her, I was just talking!" Kartik said

"No no, you go to her only! Don't talk to me!" Naira replied angrily

"Then should I call her back?" Karan said laughing, to which Kartik glared at him

"Karan! Stop right now, or else you are gone!" Kartik whispered to Karan

"Nahi jaan! I love you so much, I just want to be with you, not Gayu!" Kartik said

"That's better, if you even think about it next time na, then see what I will do!" Naira replied

"Sorry Jaan!" Kartik said making a cute pout face

"It's okay! Now can we go for shopping?" Naira asked smiling

"What? Shopping is too boring!" Karan said, and Kritika glared at him

"Very wrong Karan! You should always be ready to take your wife out, just like how I do!" Kartik said smiling

"Oh, Kartik, even you don't like shopping okay? So don't say anything to Karan as well!" Naira said making Karan laugh

"Even if you don't like, we need to go! Don't you want to buy anything for yourself?" Kritika asked

"No! And I have you babydoll, I don't want anything else!" Karan said making Kritika blush a bit

In some time they all left for shopping
