Chapter 23~Keesh wedding is fixed?

"Suvarna!" Suhasini called out

"Ji, maa ji!" Suvarna said as she walked down the stairs

"Did you talk to the Singhania's about Keerti and Naksh?" She asked

"Haan maa ji! They will come home today!" Suvarna said

"Singhania's are coming home? So my Naira will also come!" Kartik thought as he heard Suvarna and others speak

He walked to his room and called Naira

"Naira!" Kartik said as Naira answered the call

"How are you, Kartik?" She spoke

"I am good! You are coming home today na?" He asked

"Yes! It will be so good if this marriage gets fixed! I am so excited!" Naira said smiling

"Me too!"

"I will be coming to your house for the first time!" Naira said happily

"As you are the daughter in law of this house, it is your house! I am so happy to have you here!" Kartik replied

"I wish I could be with you!" Naira said

"It will be soon jaan! Now go and get ready, I am waiting for you!" Kartik said

"Okay, will talk to you later!" Naira said and kept the call

"Naira, who are you speaking to? Everyone is getting ready and you are still busy in calls!" Gayu said as she entered

"I was talking to my friend! Everyone is ready?" She asked

"Yes! You also go and get ready!" Gayu replied

"This dress? You look beautiful di!" Naira said looking at Gayu

"Thank you! It's the lehenga, gifted by Kartik! Dadi told me to wear that itself!" Gayu said. Naira's smile started to fade away

"Oh okay! Let's go down!" Naira said and walked down

"What happened to her? From yesterday she is acting weird with me!" Gayu said and went behind Naira

"Naksh, Naira, Gayu, will you all come now? We will get late, come fast!" Akshara called out

"Mamma how can you all go without Naksh bhai?" Naira said as she came down once she got ready

"He is outside already, you all also come now!" Naitik said and all of them walked out

"So fast bhai! You are so eager to meet Keerti bhabi haan?" Naira teased and Naksh glared at her

"Come let's leave now!" Devyani said. Everyone sat in the car

Naira, Gayu and Mishti were sitting in one car. The car didn't start

"Now what shall we do mamma? We are already getting late, and the car isn't starting!" Naksh said as he tried to start the car

"Mamma, we will stay here only then! You all should leave, it will be really late if we wait more!" Naira said

"But beta...." Akshara said but till then she got Suvarna's call

"Akshara ji, did you all leave?" She asked

"Not yet! Actually one of our car isn't starting, so we are still here!" Akshara said

"Oh! No problem, I will send Kartik!" Suvarna said smiling

"No Suvarna ji, we will manage no problem! It will be hectic to come for him!" Akshara said

"It's nothing Akshara ji, Kartik will be there in 10 minutes!" Suvarna replied

"Thank you so much!" Akshara said and kept the call

"Bhabi maa, she said that she will send Kartik, so Naira, Gayu and Mishti can come with him!" Akshara said.

Hearing that Kartik will be coming, Naira and Gayu smiled.

The other family members left, and soon Kartik reached

"If Gayu sits in the front, Naira will feel bad!" Kartik thought

"Bff, come and sit next to me! Gayu and Naira you both take a seat na!" Kartik said

Gayu's smile faded away, but Naira understood why he did that, she smiled looking at Kartik

They all reached Goenka villa in some time. Naksh and Keerti spoke to each other and both nodded in a yes! Both the families congratulated each other and fixed the engagement dates.

Naira was looking around the whole house, thinking that she has to come to this house one day!

"What are you looking at di? Thinking that you are going to come here soon, as the daughter in law hai na?" Mishti teased as Gayu looked around, imagining her life in this house with Kartik

"Mishti!" Gayu glared at her

Every moment Mishti teased Gayu of going to be Kartik's wife, Naira got jealous

Kartik noticed the whole scene, he looked at Naira and smiled, assuring her that everything will be fine, to which Naira smiled back

"Naira, I was thinking of calling Preeta and Karan for the marriage! The engagement is on Sunday!" Akshara said as she sat next to Naira

"That's really good mamma! I will talk to them" Naira said smiling

"Tell them to stay till the marriage! It's in the next week!"

"Oh, so fast? Just one week after the engagement?" Naira asked

"Yes! Both the families are fine with the dates given by priest, so it's next week!" Akshara said

"I will go and call Karan and Preeta!" Naira said and went out, Kartik followed her

"Where are you going Kartik?" Suvarna stopped him

"Maa I will come in five minutes!" Kartik said and went out, Gayu kept thinking why he went to Naira, so she also went behind them

Naira video-called Kritika, Kartik came and stood next to Naira

"Hello! Aaj humari yaad kaise aagayi?" Karan spoke as he saw Kartik

"No one even asked for you! Naira called to speak to Kritika!" Kartik said

"So why are you here?"

"Because my jaan is here! Even you are here only na!" Kartik said

"So even my babydoll is here, so I am with her!" Karan argued

"Are you both kids or what? Why do you both keep fighting everytime!" Naira and Kritika said

"You know this Karan loves fighting with me, I can't help it!" Kartik said as he laughed

"I am fighting? You are fighting with...."

"Karan! Stop now, will you both let us speak?" Kritika said and both Karan and Kartik kept quite
