Chapter 22~The Date

As everyone went to sleep, Naira slowly sneaked out to go with Kartik. He had come to pick her up

"Naira!" Kartik called out, and Naira came and sat inside

"Hayee, you look so beautiful!" Kartik said as she took a seat

"Ab mujhe sirf dekhte hi reh jaoge kya? Let's leave now!" Naira said bringing him back to reality

"Mera bas chale toh, I will keep looking at you like this for the whole day jaan!" Kartik said smiling

"For this you called me out? Before anyone sees us here together, we should leave!" Naira said and he drove to the place

"Kartik, I am sorry!" Naira said, and Kartik looked at her confused

"For what jaan?"

"Today, I got mad at you, whereas it was just a misunderstanding! I should have known that by mistake, those gifts reached Gayu di, but still I was angry right, so sorry!" Naira apologized

"You are telling sorry for being jealous? Meri jaan, this mendak, Kartik Goenka, was, is and will always be yours! You are my whole life, and I can never imagine my life without you!" Kartik said as he parked his car

He got down, came towards Naira's door and got her down holding her hand. As she got down she hugged Kartik

"I love you Kartik!" She said as she was hugging him

"I love you too jaan!" Kartik said and kissed her forehead

Keerti woke up, to get water from the kitchen, and as she came out, she saw Suvarna going towards Kartik's room

She knew that he is not at home, and if Suvarna goes inside, then they will be in a problem.

Before she could go inside, Keerti went to Suvarna

"Maa, what happened? Why are you still awake maa?" Keerti asked as she stood in front of Kartik's door

"Nothing beta! Kartik's room's lights were on, so I wanted to see if everything is alright! Because it's too late na!" Suvarna said

"Maa, you go and sleep, I will do it!" Keerti said

"No problem beta! You go and get water."

"It's okay maa, you go! I will do it." Keerti said, and finally Suvarna went from there

"This boy will surely put himself and me in problem! How can he forget to switch off the lights? Thank god I came before maa went inside, or else a huge scene would be created here!" Keerti said to herself and switched off the lights and walked to her room

Naira was standing near the edge of the terrace, Kartik came and hugged her from behind, and kissed her cheek, making Naira smile

"This day is the most special one for me, just like you are! I love you so much jaan." Kartik said smiling

"It's special for me too! I love you more! And I really missed you so much." Naira said turning towards him and Kartik pulled her closer to him

"I missed you too!" Kartik said and hugged her

They both wanted to be with each other. Staying away from each other for so long was very difficult

They enjoyed this special day together. Both of them felt so good being with each other.

Kartik tucked her strands of hair behind her ear and kissed her cheek making her blush

"Hayee meri jaan!" Kartik said with a smile

"Kartik, if you never found me, then what would you do?" Naira asked

"There are so many girls, Naira, if not you then....." Kartik said but stopped seeing Naira angry

"Then you would marry someone else! Hai na? Go to them only!" Naira said and looked away

"Naira! If not you, then no one! I would find you from anywhere, but this Kartik is only reserved for his Naira! This mendak only belongs to his Sherni. I am incomplete without you, and your place in my life and heart, can never be taken by anyone else!" Kartik said with a smile, and Naira hugged him

"I am blessed to have you in my life! I really want to be with you. For that, our families need to accept our marriage! And now I am scared Kartik! What if they get angry, and just separate us? I can't stay away from you Kartik, I just can't!" Naira said and stopped as Kartik kept his finger on her lips

"Jaan, nothing like that will happen! I am always with you, no matter what! And our love is strong, that no one will ever be able to separate us! Our happiness lies in each other Naira, and I will do anything to keep you happy always!" Kartik consoled her, and wiped her tears

"Now, come let's have dinner!" Kartik said and took Naira to the table

They fed each other and cut the cake, then Kartik dropped Naira home, and went to his home

"Wait! I forgot to take the house keys! Now how should I get inside?" Kartik said himself as he searched if he had the keys

"I will call Keerti, she will open it!" Kartik said and dialled, but it was switched off! She didn't answer the call

"Now I have only one option! Window!!" Kartik said and went backside, to enter through the window

As he reached there, he realized, that his window is locked from inside, so he entered from the window in the corridor

As he stepped inside, and glass kept on the table fell

"What noise is this?" Keerti said as she got up from her bed

"What if it's some thief?" Keeri told herself, and took the vase kept on the side table and walked out

As she reached the corridor, she saw Kartik standing there, but his back was facing towards her

"Chor! Chor!" Keerti screamed, and Kartik turned and closed her mouth

"Shh! Don't shout Keerti! It's me, Kartik!" He said slowly

"Why did you come like this?" Keerti asked as she sighed in relief that it wasn't a thief

"You scared me Kartik!"

"I had forgot to carry the house keys with me, that's why!" Kartik said

"Oh god! Now go and sleep, we will talk tomorrow! Or else someone will come!" Keerti said and both of them went to their rooms
