Chapter 18~Wedding

Finally it was the wedding today.

"Kartik, get up, we have to go to the venue early to check the decorations and other preparations!" Naira said waking him up.

"Jaan, two minutes na!" Kartik said sleepily

"I am going to prepare breakfast, till then you come down." Naira said and walked out

"Good morning!" Kritika said as Naira descended down

"Good morning!" She replied smiling

Naira went to the kitchen and started preparing the breakfast

Kartik came and hugged her from behind

"Kartik, what are you doing? Koi aa jayega!" Naira said slowly

"Aa ne do! You are my wife afterall." Kartik said pulling her even closer

Kritika and Karan came near the kitchen and hid as they saw Kartik and Naira there

"They look so cute together na!" Kritika said smiling

"Yes babydoll! Let them romance, leave them alone, you be with me!" Karan said and pulled her towards him

"Karan!!" Kritika said but Karan kept his finger on her lips to stop her

Both the couples were lost in each other's eyes, suddenly the bell rang, which made Kaira move away, but KriRan were still looking at each other

"Everytime someone has to come!" Kartik said getting irritated, to which Naira laughed

"Go and open the door!" Naira said

As Kartik walked out of the kitchen, he saw KriRan

"Naira!!" He signalled her to come, and she came to him

"Hayee, they look so adorable!" Naira said smiling

"Ehem ehem!" Kaira cleared their throat to get them back to reality

Kritika moved away as she blushed a bit

"Is the breakfast ready? I am hungry." Karan said trying to change the topic, as Kartik and Naira smiled looking at them

"You can continue your romance Karan! We didn't see anything, hai na jaan?" Kartik said smiling

"Kartik! Don't you have to get ready? Don't be late like always!" Karan replied and went inside, both Kartik and Naira were laughing

"Kartik, open the door! And Kritika, come we have to get ready na!" Naira said and took Kritika inside to get ready

Soon they all get ready and go to the venue, Kartik and Karan were already in the wedding hall! Naira and Kritika reached later

"Haayee!" Kartik said as he saw Naira getting down the car

"Babydoll!" Karan said smiling looking at Kritika

They all started the rituals, took 7 rounds and were officially married

"Congratulations!" Naira said

"Congratulations Kritika and Karan!" Kartik said

After the function, all four of them came back home

"It was tiring na, but I really enjoyed so much!" Naira said

"This girl in the wedding, she was looking so beautiful, I just felt like looking at her for the full day!" Kartik said looking at his phone, making Naira jealous

"What? Kartik, what did you say? Which girl are you talking about?" Naira asked angrily

"No one jaan! I just said simply that she was looking pretty!" Kartik replied

"Who is that girl, Kartik?" Naira asked again

"You want to see? She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." Kartik said, and Naira nodded

Kartik showed Naira's pictures and said

"This is the girl! My jaan, and my sherni, who I love the most!" Kartik said,making Naira smile

"Why did you do this Kartik? I was so angry you know!" Naira said

"You look really cute when you are jealous!" Kartik said smiling

"Kartik! Now come we have to sleep, we need to leave tomorrow na....." naira said but stopped

"Kartik, we have to go back tomorrow!" Naira said sadly

"Yes, jaan! The flight is early morning!" Kartik said

"I know Kartik, but going there, we won't get to be together! And what if Gayu di says yes! They will get you married to her." Naira said as tears streamed down her eyes

"Shh, jaan, you also know that I won't marry anyone else! You are my wife, and will always be! And now, Keerti is also with us, don't worry jaan, everything will be fine!" Kartik assured as he wiped her tears

"As we reach Udaipur, we will find the right time, and tell our families about the marriage!" Kartik said

"Kartik, please do something, and stop this marriage to happen! I can't live away from you for long." Naira said

"I know Naira, even I can't! I will do something don't worry now! Lets sleep, you are really tired also today! You should take rest!" Kartik said making her lie down on the bed

"Akshara, did you speak to Gayu? What is her answer?" Devyani asked

"I will ask her now!" Akshara replied and went to Gayu's room

"Maami, aap? Come inside!" Gayu said and she walked in

"Beta, did you think about the proposal? Tomorrow Naira and Kartik will come back, and we need to tell if it's a yes or a no from our side!" Akshara asked softly

"Maami, I am very confused!" Gayu said and explained the whole matter to her

"Oh, so he is not yet ready to marry! What is your answer Gayu? You are the one who has to spend your life with him, you need to think about it and choose wisely!" Akshara explained

"I know maami! I really got time to be with Kartik in Rishikesh, as I stayed for few days!"

"So what is your answer?" Akshara asked

"Maami, I love Kartik!" Gayu said, which made Akshara happy

"I am really happy that you chose this!" Akshara said and hugged her

"But maami, he is not yet ready na!"

"We will fix the marriage, and keep it after few months, till then you can know him even better right?" Akshara said smiling

"Thank you so much maami!" Gayu replied

"You are also just like Naira to me Gayu! Just as her happiness is important for us, yours is as well!" Akshara said
