Chapter 25~Family time

The engagement was completed happily. Both the families were happy with all the arrangements and the functions that happened.

Naksh was standing in the kitchen, drinking water.

"Bhai!" Naira and Gayu said making Naksh scared for a moment, and dropped the glass down.

"What? Aise kaun darata hai?" Naksh asked.

"Bhai, shh! If someone wakes up then it will be a problem!" Naira said slowly

"Kya hua? Itni raat ko kya yaad aaya tum dono ko? I am really sleepy, I am going to sleep! You both also better go!" Naksh said and walked to go out, but Gayu stopped him

"Bhai listen! Ek baar apni sisters ki baat sunlo na, please!" Gayu said.

"Gayu, Naira it's 1:30 at night, at this time what do you want?"

"We want to go to have ice cream!" They both said together.

"What? If mamma gets to know, that I took you both outside, then she'll kill me for sure!"

"And who eats ice cream at this time? I will take you tomorrow!" Naksh replied and walked off

"Bhai, think once again! Keerti bhabi is also coming!" Naira said, and Naksh stopped in his tracks.

"Keerti ji? You have called her too? Why did you disturb her at this time? She might be sleeping right!" Naksh said with concern

"Aww! Abhi se itna care haan, bhai!" Gayu teased him

"Gayu! Now that you both have planned, I am taking you this time, not again okay?" Naksh said.

"My plan worked! Only because Keerti bhabi is coming, bhai agreed!" Naira whispered to Gayu

"By the way, you called Keerti bhabi too? So that means Kartik will also be coming, right?" Gayu asked excitedly

"I didn't call her yet! I will tell her now. Because bhai was not agreeing, I simply said that bhabi will also come! Now I need to call and tell her to come!"

"I'll tell Kartik to get Keerti bhabi!" Both Naira and Gayu thought

Both of them called Kartik at the same time, and so the call wasn't reachable.

"I think he kept the phone on silent and slept, I will call Karan or Kritika! They will get him along with them." Naira thought and dialled Kritika's number.

Gayu still kept trying, and Kartik answered the call as it finally reached him

"Kartik, it's me, Gayu!" She spoke

"Yes? Is everything okay? Why did you call at this time?" Kartik asked in a sleepy way

"Actually, me, bhai and Naira are going to have ice cream. It will be really nice if you, and Keerti bhabi, join us!" Gayu said smiling

"Naira will be there! I should go." Kartik thought and agreed to her invite

"Hello, Kritika!" Naira said as Kritika answered the call

"Hello, is everything fine? Itni raat ko kyu call kiya?" She asked

"Actually, I called Kartik, but I think he is sleeping. I want you all to join us. We are going to have ice cream!" Naira said

"Oh we would love to join! We will meet you soon then!" Kritika said and kept the call

"Babydoll? At this time?" Karan asked

"Yes! Please Karan, I really want to have ice cream! Let's go please!" Kritika pleaded, and Karan couldn't disagree

"But Kartik is sleeping, it won't be good if we wake him up, its not good to disturb na!" Kritika said

"Babydoll, it's okay! I will wake him up!" Karan said and went to Kartik's room

Without knocking, he entered straight in his room. Kartik's phone was on speaker as he was speaking to Gayu.

"Okay, bye!" Kartik replied as he saw Karan enter. Till then Kritika had also come there.

"Karan? What happened? Why are you here?" Kartik asked as he turned towards him

"First you tell me, who were you talking to? Who is that girl? This is so wrong Kartik! You are married, and their your wife is calling you from so long, and here you are talking to some other girl! Very bad!" Karan said

"What? Naira called me? I didn't get any call!" Kartik replied

"How will you get? You were so busy talking to someone else!"

"Karan! I got Gayu's call. She wanted me to get Keerti and you all to the ice cream parlour. I will never talk to any other girl, other than Naira!" Kartik said

"Accha ji? So Gayu called you and you agreed?" Karan asked

"Karan! Stop na. Kartik you know how he is na? Don't listen to him! Let's go! Naira must be waiting for us!" Kritika said

"Who will know him more than me? I agreed because I wanted to meet Naira! Now let's leave." Kartik said

All of them reached the ice cream parlour. Kartik got down of the car and saw Naira standing near the stall. He went towards her and hugged her. He didn't realise that Gayu was standing there. Naira moved back before he could hug.

Gayu looked at Kartik in shock, but kept quite as she saw Karan hug Naira too. She thought they were just friends, so kept quite.

"So, jaa..." Kartik said. He was going to say jaan, but Naira nodded looking at him, indicating him that Gayu was standing right there.

"What?" Gayu asked, as she sensed he was telling something but Naira stopped him.

"Nothing, I was just telling ki main jaa raha hu!" Kartik said. "Kahan?" Gayu asked back.

"Uhm....woh...." Kartik didn't know what to say

"To get ice cream!" Karan said and took Kartik along with him.

"Agar main nahi hota toh tumhara kya hota? Theek se jhooth bhi nahi bol sakte na! If Gayu would have got to know something today na, you were so dead then!" Karan warned him as they both went to the stall.

Naksh parked his car, and came to the stall. He looked at Keerti and gave a smile. She smiled back looking at him.

"Ehem ehem!" Naira and Gayu cleared their throats.

"Uhm, Naira what ice cream flavor do you want? And you Gayu?" Naksh said as he was pretty embarrassed, while Naira and Gayu shared a laugh as they saw his expressions.

"Chocolate! Vanilla!" They both said at the same time, and Naksh walked to go to the stall.

"Bhai! Keerti Bhabi ko toh puch lo?" Naira teased him more. He just gave an embarrassed look and went from there, making everyone their laugh, and a slight smile came on Keerti's face.
