Chapter 9~Kartik meeting Gayu

As Kartik and Naira were going upstairs to Gayu's room, Naira stopped Kartik and took him to her room.

"Jaan, why are we here? I have to go meet your sister na?" Kartik said smiling

"What did you say? Why are you so excited huh?" Naira said hitting his arm

"Jaan, someone will come! Before that we have to go!"

Naira took her phone and called on Kartik's number

"Jaan why are you calling me?" Kartik asked looking at the phone

"Shh! Keep the phone on speaker and go inside!"

"I said go inside! And don't even think of saying yes! You understand?" Naira said folding her arms

"Accha meri jaan, I understood, now let me go?" Kartik said calmly

Finally they both sat, and spoke about their likes and dislikes

"Let's go out?" Gayu said softly

"Kartik tell her everything!" Naira thought to herself

"Kartik tell her no!" Naira messaged him

"But jaan, she is so beautiful! What reason should I give her?" Kartik replied to her message

"What did you say? Will you tell no, or I should come inside?" Naira replied angrily

"Accha sorry sorry!"

"Gayu wait! i want to tell you something." Kartik stopped her

"Yeah?"

"Gayu, I can't marry you!" He confessed

"Why? What happened?" Gayu asked worriedly

"I am sorry gayu!"

"But what is the reason?" Gayu asked again

"It's just that, all this is very early for me! I don't want to marry now. But my family wants that, and now this marriage will stop only if you say no!" Kartik said

They all went down

"Actually, even I have to go to Rishikesh!" Naira said which shocked everyone

Before she could see the texts, Kartik took the phone from her

"Yes Mishti, even I want to know who this Sherni is talking to! Wait let me see." Kartik said controlling the situation which made Naira smile

"Yes jiju, see who it is!" Mishti said

"Arrey mishti, it was Kritika! She wasn't talking to anyone, its our bad!" Kartik said and returned the phone to Naira

"Thank god you saved the matter Kartik! Or else they would get to know about us." Naira thought

"I will always be there for you jaan!" Kartik thought
