Chapter 10~Did their family agree?

The goenka's left after meeting them!

"Naitik, do you think sending Gayu with them, be right?" Akshara asked

"No Akshara, I don't think so! What choti maa is telling, is absolutely right! And also, it is their best friend's wedding na, so let them go!" Naitik said but Akshara wasn't convinced yet

"Naitik, after so many years, Naira came back to us, now I can't stay away from her." Akshara said as she sat on the sofa

"Mumma! I am not leaving you na, I will come back! It is just a matter of one week, and mumma you know how much I love you right? So, I won't go anywhere away from you!" Naira said kneeling down in front of Akshara

"I love you too baccha!" Akshara hugged her and kissed her forehead

"So now can I go?" Naira asked hoping for a yes

"Princess, you can surely go, but then stay safe! Take care of yourself." Naitik said

"When my Kartik, my husband, my life, when he is with me, nothing can ever happen to me!" Naira thought

Naira went to her room and called Kartik

"Jaan, you are already missing me? We just met now." Kartik said smiling

"Kartik, you know I can't live without you na! I miss you so much." Naira said

"Jaan, we are going to Rishikesh na! We will spend full time together."

"I am so excited for Kritika and Karan's marriage." Naira said.

"Umm, sorry jaan! Woh actually, unki shaadi nahi hai. Woh maine aise hi boldiya." Kartik confessed making Naira shocked

"Kya?? Kya bol rhe ho tum Kartik?" Naira questioned

"I didn't understand how to postpone this proposal, so I simply said that!" Kartik said

"Kartik!! We lied to our parents and family, just to spend time together?" Naira asked

"Bhagwaan ji, mujhe meri unromantic wife se bachao! Naira, you know how much I miss you na, and this is the perfect way to be together." Kartik said

"Where will we live then? And do Karan and Kritika know that we are coming? Did you tell them something? Did your parents agree?" Naira asked continuously

"Calm down sherni! We will live in our Kaira mansion, the one we bought together in Rishikesh, what else do we want? And we will surprise Kritika and Karan! So don't tell them anything." Kartik said

"Oh haan, I totally forgot! But did uncle aunty agree to send you?" Naira asked

"They will agree, you tell me! Did your family agree, to send you alone?" Kartik said stressing on alone

"Yes, finally they did!"

"Naira, come here!" Akshara called

"Accha Kartik, meet you at the airport, I have to go now! Love you." Naira said

"Love you too jaan!" Kartik said and kept the call

"Kartik, why do you want to go again?" Suvarna asked sadly

"Maa, I told you right? I have to attend wedding na! I will be back in a week."

"Your flight is booked Kartik! It's at 2 at midnight today." Manish said handing over the ticket

"And Naira's?" Kartik asked without thinking twice

"Why do you care so much about her?" Dadi asked

"Dadi, she is my best friend! That's why."

"Kartik, I bought the same ticket for her and sent it through the driver." Manish said

"Thank god it's the same flight!" Kartik thought

Naira went to Gayu's room and saw her holding Kartik's picture, she was lost in her thoughts

"Bhagwaan ji, yeh aap kaisa test le rahe hain humari? I can't see Gayu di sad! Nor can I leave Kartik, he is my whole life!" Naira thought to herself

"Gayu di, are you busy?" Naira asked entering the room, she wiped her tears and hid the picture

"What happened Naira?"

"Actually, mujhe gifts lene jana tha, Kritika aur Karan ke liye! Can you come with me?" Naira asked softly

"Umm, sorry Naira, I am not in a mood to go out, you go! We can go next time."

"What happened di?" Naira asked

"Nothing Naira! I am just too tired, sorry!"

"It's okay di, you take rest!" Naira said and went out

"Maa, I am going out, I will come in sometime!" Kartik said

"Now where are you going Kartik?"

"Woh... woh actually haan! I have to get gifts for Kritika and Karan."

"You never bought gifts for your only sister." Keerti said

"I myself am the biggest gift for you!" Kartik said smiling

"I don't know how Gayu will bear you after marriage."

"Gayu, is such a sweet girl! Very well mannered and respectful." Suvarna said

"Naira is also like Gayu!" Keerti added

"My jaan, is very different from everyone! She is my whole life now, and I can't think of anyone else other than her." Kartik thought and smiled

"Thinking about Gayu na?" Keerti teased

"Keerti!!" Kartik glared at her

"Maa, I was thinking we can call Gayu bhabi and her family to our house once!" Keerti said stressing on 'bhabi' to tease Kartik

"Your bhabi is only Naira! No one can ever separate us." Kartik thought

"Keerti will you stop now?" Kartik said glaring at her and went out

"Maa, I feel it will be a yes from Kartik's side!" Keerti said excitedly

"I feel the same! And anyways, Gayu is really nice! I personally like her, and she is perfect for my Kartik." Suvarna said

"I seriously have to do something now! We have to tell the family about our marriage or else they will get us married, and now, only if Gayu tells no, this marriage can stop!" Kartik thought as he was driving the car
