Chapter 34~Kaira in Rishikesh?

2 years later

Kartik and Naira left Udaipur and shifted to Rishikesh. As Naitik, Manish and Naksh didn't accept them, and were planning to get them married, Naira and Kartik decided to leave and stay away from them. Here they stayed with Karan and Kritika

"Good morning jaan!" Kartik said as he woke up and saw his wife standing near the mirror getting ready.

"Finally you got up! You should have slept more!" Naira replied sarcastically

"Sorry jaan! Where are you going early morning?" He asked hugging her from behind.

"Mendak, have you seen the time? This is early morning for you? I am going out with Kritika and Sahil. You and Karan sleep here only!" Naira said coming out of his grip.

"This is not fair jaan! It's sunday today, your husband should get a chance to be with you for today at least!" Kartik said with a pout.

"But my husband was busy sleeping, so now I am going! Bye!" Naira smiled and walked out. Kartik went behind her.

"Kritika come let's leave!" Naira called out.

"Naira can you take Sahil please? I am coming!" She replied. Naira went to the cot and picked him. Sahil is Karan and Kritika's 5 months old son.

"My baby!" Naira said and kissed his cheek giving him a smile as he giggled.

"I didn't get mine yet!" Kartik said making Naira's eyes widened and she looked at him. She moved towards him, kissed his cheek and he smiled.

"Ehem Ehem!" Karan entered and they both moved away

"Humesha ke tarah Karan is here! Can't you knock and come?" Kartik said looking at him.

"Kartik, this is dining hall. Next time I will call and come okay?" He replied laughing and Kartik looked away in embarrassment.

"Whatever! Now let's go for work, aren't we getting late?" Kartik said trying to change the topic

"Kartik, its Sunday today!" Karan said laughing.

"Naira come let's go!" Kritika came out.

"Babydoll today we three will go, you both can go some other day." Karan said looking at Kritika, he winked.

"Oh yes, let's leave these Laila majnu together today!" Kritika teased too.

"Kritika!" Naira glared at her as she smiled.

"Jaan, that's not a bad idea!" Kartik said smiling.

"Kartik! Let's do one thing, we all will go out together, come now!" Naira said

"Poor Kartik!" Karan whispered and Kartik glared at him.

"Let's go now!" Kritika said.

"Maa, where should I keep these gift boxes?" Keerti asked as she entered Akshara's room. She didn't reply, she was lost in her thoughts, until then Keerti called her again

"Yes?" She replied

"What happened maa? Is everything fine?" Keerti asked taking a seat next to her

"Beta, tomorrow it's Naira's birthday, and she is only not here!" Akshara said as tears streamed down her eyes

"Maa we all miss them! But if you get sad like this, then how will Naira be happy there. I am sure she is also missing everyone here!" Keerti said

"10 years back she left me because of some misunderstandings, and that time I used to celebrate her birthday every year, even when she wasn't there with me. And when she finally had come here, 2 years back because of our mistake, she again went away from us!" Akshara said

"It was not your mistake maa! You didn't want to get her married to anyone else, it was just that Papa and Naksh were not ready to listen. You trust Kartik that he will take care of Naira right? So don't worry, he is there with her. And anytime you want to talk to her, you can call her!" Keerti replied

"I wish she was with us now! Only I know how difficult it is for me to stay away from her for so many years. I just want her to come back!"

"Maa everytime you celebrate her birthday right? So this year also we will celebrate the same way! If we get sad here, then how will Naira be happy there? She is absolutely fine there, and trust me she will come back soon!" Keerti said and Akshara hugged her.

"I will call her now!" Akshara said and dialled the number

"Mamma!" Naira said as soon as she answered the call

"Naira! How are you? How is Kartik?" Akshara asked

"We both are fine mamma! How are you all? Badi dadi, choti dadi, bhai, bhabi, papa?" Naira asked

"We all are fine beta!"

"I miss you all so much mamma!" Naira said

"We miss you more beta! I wish you were here now! How is Kritika, Karan? and Sahil?" Akshara asked

"They all are fine! We have come out now, to a mall nearby as it's sunday!" Naira said

"Okay then, enjoy yourself Naira, and please take care of yourself!"

"Your son in law takes good care of me, don't worry!" Naira said making Akshara smile

"Love you beta! Bye!"

"Love you too mamma, take care!" she replied and kept the call.

"I thought girls call their mothers and complain about their husband and his family, but yahan toh she is praising me!" Kartik said smiling.

"Ab they should also know that my husband is the best. And that he takes good care of me, and loves me the most!" Naira replied.

"I will always love you jaan!" Kartik said.

"I love you more!" She replied

"We didn't hear anything, hai na babydoll?" Karan teased them as Kartik glared at him.

"You have a death wish hai na Karan!" Kartik replied looking at him.

"Oh we reached the mall!" Karan changed the topic.
