Seventeen- Stealing Hallmark cards

"Tal, hun, you gotta get up. The flight's leaving in three hours and we need to get ready." Rhy's shakes me awake softly before walking out of my room.

I rub my eyes and groan as I get off my bed frame, the frame creaking from my loss of weight. I brush my teeth for the last time in London and change into a pair of leggings with my tye-dye sweatshirt.

Suddenly my door opens and Rhys walks in with clothes hung over his shoulder. He throws the clothes at me,

"Go change Talulah. We have one last stop until we leave."

"I thought that the flight was in 3 hours?" I yelled. I hear his heavy footfalls come back to my room,

"Nope, we have twelve hours." I smile, shaking my head at his childishness. I look at the clothes that he gave me to see that I had a pair of flared pants with a white top and a blazer. I raise my eyebrows, what was this man planning to do?

I change into the outfit nonetheless, and stuff my clothes into my check-in bag, zipping it up. I walk down the staircase and see Rhys standing at the door, waiting for me. He was dressed in the same pants as me and had my carry on bag in his hand. Araluen runs towards me,

"I guess this is goodbye for now?" She asks, shifting awkwardly as I tighten my grip on my luggage. I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear, nodding,

"I guess so. It was nice being your friend, call me when you learn how to put other people first." I say walking out the door and watching Rhys close the door behind him. I look at him,

"Did you call an Uber?" I ask, peering over to check his phone. He clutches the phone to his chest,

"Nope. I called in a favor." He says, smacking me on the head lightly, muttering

"Nosy." I put my hand to my heart pretending to be offended,

"I'm not nosy at all Rhys!" I exclaim before being interrupted by a blue Minivan pulling up in front of us. Tommy sticks his head out,

"Stargirl, get in! We're gonna give you a tour of London." he yells ushering us into the car. I give my luggage to Louie, moving to sit in between Charlotte and Tommy. Rhys sits up in the front with Louie and plugs in his phone. Suddenly Money by Pink Floyd starts blasting through the speakers.

"Money, it's a crime-!" I scream out the lyrics of one of the best bass songs ever. Tommy looks at me with pride as I stare back,

"Anything wrong Tommy?" I ask, titing my head sideways. He snaps out of his trance, smiling,

"Nothings wrong Stargirl." He reassures me as Louie parks the car in front of an old shut down Hallmark store. I quirk an eyebrow,

"Guys, I know that I dress vintage and act like I'm from the ninety's but I don't think stealing Hallmark cards is the answer y'all" I say as they look at me weirdly.

"No Talulah, we're going to pose on one of the most famous streets in the world." Charlotte says, pulling me towards the Abbey Road crosswalk. It was empty since it was so early in the morning. Louie was given the camera and we got ready to pose in the spots.

"Ready? One, Two, cheese!" The bright light blinded me for a second and then it was gone. Charlotte pulls me along somewhere,

"Come on Lulah!" She screams, gently grabbing my wrist and pulling me and the group into a small 24/7 camera printer place. Louie plugs the camera into the small machine and it asks how many copies we want.

"Who wants a copy?" He asks. My hand shoots up along with all of the others. He counts our hands and prints the photos out accordingly. The photos come out, in color and one in black and white. He gives me one color picture and the only one in black.

Tommy grabs my wrist and pulls me back to the van, cursing loudly as he trips but gets caught by Louie. Louie shakes his head, chuckling lightly,

"You're so clumsy." He says as Tommy shrugs, pulling me into the van.

"Where are we going?" I ask, looking around at the scenery, not recognizing where we were.

"CHINATOWN!" Charlotte screams in my ear, making me wince and rub my ear in pain.

"First of all, ow. Second of all, isn't Chinatown in New York?" I ask, ruffling through my backpack to find a place to put my picture of Abbey Road. I pull out my song journal and stuff the photos in there.

"There's multiple Chinatowns darling." Tommy says as Louie expertly parks in front of an authentic looking restaurant. I walk out of the van and look up in wonder. There was a big gate that was decorated with Chinese patterns.

I hear the click of a camera and jump around frightened. I see Rhys quickly tucking his phone into his pocket. I run full force at him and jump on top of him causing him to fall on the concrete,

"Ow! That hurts man."

"Give me the picture Rhys!" I ask, getting up and brushing the dust off my pants. He gets up, sticking his tongue out at me. Charlotte shows us her favorite restaurant, 耶洛, which apparently means yellow. The interior of the restaurant was very art based and you could draw all over the table. I was the person to draw the most on the table.

We were now standing outside the London Heathrow airport, right in front of my terminal. Rhys was unloading the bags from the trunk as I was saying my goodbyes to the band.

"So, I guess this is goodbye." Tommy says, hugging me tightly,

"Come visit sometime soon Stargirl." He finishes his sentence then lets me go.

"It was nice meeting you Taluah. You're such a wonderful person no matter how crazy. Bon voyage." He whispers into my ear, rubbing my back soothingly. I was now saying goodbye to Charlotte. She hugs me and her long arms circle around my waist,

"Keep me updated and text me Lulah." She says. I nod and walk into the airport with Rhys as we check into our flight. I look behind me, seeing that the van is gone.

I had come with two good friends and returned with four.
