Forty Eight-Umbridges stationery gone

missing

"Little Darling, it's been a long, co-" My alarm buzzes, and I slap my hand onto my phone, quickly shutting the Beatles up. My phone instantly goes quiet and I push myself up, leaning my back on the headboard.

I spot the small blue suitcase, full of clothes and my essentials. Next to the suitcase was the empty backpack that I had yet to pack. I groan and roll over, facing the wall. I close my eyes, trying to get some more sleep as my door swings open.

"Today's the day. I'm so excit- oh. You're still sleeping." He groans out and a couple of minutes later I feel the blanket being ripped off me.

"GET UP. We have a flight to make." Rhys screams and I sigh out, rolling myself off the bed.

"I don't wanna." I groan out, curling into a small ball.

"But you gotta." Rhys mocks, his fingers tickling my sides gently. Through giggles, I screamed,

"Okay, okay, I'm up." My feet touch the freezing cold tiles and I jump back onto the bed, trying to warm my feet back up.

"Crap," I mutter, now putting one foot down at a time, letting them gradually get used to the temperature. I walk over to my record player at slip in the newest Killers album and let it play gently in the background.

"What to do, what to do?" I ask myself, trying to figure out what I should do first. I decided to get changed, so I could be prepared just in case I would have to make a quick dash to the supermarket.

I pull out a pair of leggings and a random cardigan, pulling both of those on. I slip on a pair of toms, just in case, I would need to take my shoes off during security. My eyes stopped at my bag and I made a sour face, I would have to pack my carry on.

I throw the bag onto my bed and look through my bedside table for my passport and visa, making sure to secure both of those documents in my front pocket.

"Talulah! You have mail!" Rhys screams. I raise my eyebrows, since when did I get mail? I shrugged and walked down the stairs, seeing Rhys hold a mid-size box. He wiggles his eyebrows and sets it down on the dinner table, waiting for me to open it.

I inhale and open the box, sitting there stunned at what was inside. It was an iPad 11 with an Apple pencil, the devices that I had wanted for a while. I carefully take them out of the box, hearing Rhys whistle,

"Dang Talulah. Have you gotten a sugar daddy recently?" I shrug in response, wondering who would send me something like this. As I take the items out of the box, a note flutters down, unsticking from the back of the iPad box. I look at it suspiciously and pick it up.

The note was written on pink stationery, the same color of pink that I know Louie loves. My thoughts were proven further when I read what was on the note,

"Forgive us, love. Have a nice time in Korea for us.

Archie, Charlotte, Louie, and Matteo"

I was right, they had thought that they could buy my forgiveness. Rhys's head rested over my shoulder and I looked at him,

"Should I keep it?" Rhys shrugs, frowning slightly into my shoulder,

"If you want. There's no return address so I would have kept it." He says and I nod, taking his advice into consideration. I clutch the box to my chest and run upstairs, sitting gently on my bed.

I cautiously take the tape off the box and crack a small smile at the iPad. There were a screen protector and a case already on. The case itself looked to be selected just for me, with the abstract figures all around and a place to set the apple pencil.

I delicately placed the iPad in my backpack, making sure it was in it's allotted pocket.

"What else?" I ask myself and my answer is shortly answered when Rhys comes upstairs and starts going through my closet,

"You need a change of clothes, just in case." He says, throwing me a pair of jeans and some random button up. I grab them from the bed and stuff the clothes in my bag carelessly. Rhys peeks into my bag, raising his eyebrows,

"You kept the iPad?" He asks, his eyebrows wiggling suggestively. I turn towards him and smack his arm, smirking he yelps in pain.

"What was that for?" He asked, cradling that part of his arm that was about to have a bruise.

"For snooping," I reply, flopping down on the bed from exhaustion. Rhys looks me in the eyes playfully and groans,

"I give up." He walks out of the room and I sit there, staring at the wall, waiting for my procrastination to go away.

______________

"Hurry up!" Rhys screams at me as I tug my luggage down the stairs, the rattling of my backpack prominent as I run furiously to the cab.

I had just finished packing when Rhys screamed that the driver was here. As of now, we were running late since Rhys had misplaced the keys to the house.

"I got your bag Lulah, go sit in the car." Rhys takes my bad from me and I stand there awkwardly, waiting for him to get in the car with me. I always hated sitting with random strangers in cars for long periods of time.

Rhys comes back from putting my bags in the trunk and frowned slightly when he saw me standing on the curb. When he notices that I saw his frown it quickly turns to a light smile as he grabs my hand,

"Come on Lulah, the driver won't be waiting forever." He gently pulls me along with him and I smile softly, scooting into the seat next to him. As the car starts I look out the window,

This trip will give me a chance to sort out my feelings.
