Thirty Five-Blue!

"What?" I ask, my hands slipping from my seat belt in shock. Rhys sighs and buckles it for me,

"Again, what is this? The fifth time this month." He grumbles and Louie responds,

"Ya, it's becoming normal."

"Hold the Phone! What is going on!" I scream, interrupting their bickering. They both stop and stare at me as the car becomes silent, with me glaring at them.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, hearing Tommy sigh in annoyance,

"You guys can't stay quiet for a small amount of time?"

"Sorry." Both of the boys mutter, my question going unnoticed. I clench my fists,

"Hello? Can anybody answer my question?" I scream, instantly quieting when Tommy stares at me through the mirror.

"Ever since management gave him restrictions he has been trying to write and hit a block." He says as his hands tighten on the wheel.

"He throws fits because he can't write?" I ask, one eyebrow raising in suspicion. There was something fishy and Tommy was leaving something out.

"And?" I ask, waiting for him to tell me.

"He started drinking almost everyday." I looked at him quizzically and looked out at the window,

"How do y'all get them to stop?"

"We don't. But now that you're here you might be able to help. So will you Stargirl?" As soon as he finishes I feel the full weight of his words settle on my shoulders. I pout at him, that isn't fair! He put everything on me and expected me to be fine.

I shiver under pressure from everyone's stare and cower into myself. My blonde hair covers my face as I throw it forward, allowing it to shield my face.

"Stargirl?" I hear Tommy pull over as I peek through my curtain,

"Fine." I mutter, pulling my hair back into a messy ponytail, letting some stands fall out of my grasp. The car starts again and quickly we reach the studio.

"Stay here." Louie says and steps out of the car, leaving me in the car, fumbling with my laces.

"What happened?" Rhys says, pulling me onto his lap. I grunt angrily and move back to my seat, letting my back face him.

"Tal?" I crack a small smile at him,

"Yes?"

"What happened?" He asks once again and I peer at him, pushing my glasses up. His face softens and he pulls me in again, this time I don't resist.

"Tommy just laid it on me without prepping so I had to say yes." I whine and Rhys puts a finger on my lips, shushing me.

"Talulah, you always have the chance to say no. I can call them and tell them that you changed your mind?" He gestures toward his phone and I quickly shake my head,

"It's fine."

"Are you sure?" He asks reassuringly and I nod, I would have to do this for Charlotte ,Louis, and Tommy.

"I'm good." I say firmly, ending the discussion. Rhys inaudibly nods and undoes his cross necklace and slips it over my neck. Normally, I would reject it but today I would need all the comforting in the world.

"Thanks." I smile, leaning into his embrace. I palm the cool metal in my hand and finally relax.

The calm aura doesn't last for long though, as Louie swings the door open and motions for us to get out. I sigh and walk out of the car, clutching the sleeve of my sweater in my right hand.

"Are you ready?" He asks me and I nod, walking into the studio. Immediately I notice that the studio has multiple rooms and reeks of weath, both culturally and money wise.

"Woah." My mouth drops open as I look at Rhys, who looks unaffected. I've never been in such a large room before, let alone be asked to work here.

I look at Rhys again and lift a brow, why wasn't he excited? Finally the pieces start to click together, he had been here before without telling me. How? I shook my head, I would find out later. We stop in front of a door with a large star on it,

"This is Archie's room. We can't go any further." Tommy says looking at me sympathetically. I wanted to press further but resisted, knowing that I could get more info from Charlotte.

I take a deep breath and open the door slowly, not prepared for what I see. When I open the door I'm blown away. Archie is in the corner with his bassist and Charlotte trying to coax him away. His hand is tightly clasped around a flask of alcohol as his face turns bright red.

My eyes meet Charlotte's and I see her eyes start to water. I immediately understood, she cared about him too much to see him like this. I nod and motion for her to go out of the room, rubbing her back slightly as she leaves.

I come up close next to Archie and hold one hand out, changing my tone of voice to one that a mother might have,

"Archie?" He looks up at the mention of his name, his floppy brown hair covering his eyes.

"Blue?" He asks and I tilt my head slightly, what did he mean by blue? Oh, the blue crush.

"Yes, it's blue." I peel his sweaty hands off the flask and set it near his step-brother. I put my arms under his armpits and lift him up with a grunt. I knew that this boy had a rock as a brain but I didn't know that he weighed as much as a pile of rocks. Archie looks at me dreamily and strokes my face,

"I need to thank Araluen for getting such a pretty specimen back to me." He says, my green eyes looking into his brown ones. I immediately flush to a comical red and break eye contact, I think that I like drunk Archie better than sober Archie.

"Awww Blue, don't hide your pretty face from me." He tilts my head up, surprisingly strong for a drunk man. I snap out of his trance and snap my head back, ripping my head from his hands. The anger slowly comes back into his face and I quickly put my face into his hands, wanting to prevent any breakouts.

The red in his face quickly fades and he turns into a pile of mush.

"Blue!" He cheers like a baby, causing me to internally roll my eyes. I continue to drag his body outside the room, hip checking the door to open it.

"What now?" I ask, motioning to his body in my hands. The boys freeze and Tommy steps in front of me,

"You got Archie to fall asleep." His jaw drops and I shift uncomfortably with a at least 140 pound man in my arms.

"Usually I would have some type of sassy comeback but I'm too busy with Mr.blue over here." Louie quickly springs into action and points toward one of the tinier doors,

"He sleeps over there after he throws a fit."

"Okay." I breathe out and drag the half asleep man who's muttering,

"Blue, Blue, baby blue." I hip check the doop open again and find a small bed, almost sighing in relief when I see that the bed is touching the floor, no heavy lifting for me. I put Archie into bed and tuck him in, making sure that he's a snug as a bug. As I walk out of the room, I could overhear some of the conversation,

"Why is she even here? She has no use and she probably is just lying about her ability." I peek out of the door and see that his step brother, Matteo, who was leading the conversation. I shut the door behind me,

"What?"
