"Yeah, i did." I smiled at her and snuggled in her arms. Maybe my life wasn't going to be that bad after all...

We stayed in that position for a couple of minutes, then we got up and Raven wrapped a towel over me and herself. We went to her room and got dressed. I was wearing a yellow sundress while Raven had a black blouse with black skinny jeans. She left a couple of buttons undone, exposing her chest and a little bit of cleavage. She was so fucking hot...

"What are you looking at?" Raven asked me smirking. She knew what I was looking at, she just wanted to hear me say it.

"N-nothing." I looked away and hoped she would let it go. She hummed still smirking, then she took my hand and lead me to the makeup bathroom.

Raven put eyeliner and black eyeshadow on herself, not even bothering with fondation since her skin was flawless. While she was putting it on, I was looking at the dress I was wearing and wondered why Raven had it. It was obviously not her style.

"I bought it for you." I looked at her in surprise, I swear this woman could read my mind, but then I thought about what she had said. She really bought it for me? I smiled and felt warm inside, I really hoped this Raven would last.

"Thank you, I really like it." I gave her a hug from behind, she placed a hand on my arms around her like she wanted me to stay there, but I got up and sat next to her.

"Can I do my makeup?" She nodded while still doing hers.

I looked at what she had and noticed that everything was from good brands, but it didn't surprise me, if I had all the money she had, I would want the best too. I took a palette that was rather colourful and did a half cut crease with some yellows and oranges to match my dress. I used glitter to make it pop even more, then I put mascara on, highlighter and clear lipgloss.

By the time I had finished, Raven had gone to her room since she finished doing her makeup before me. I got up, looked in the mirror and examined myself. I must admit that I did a good job, I was stunning.

I went to Raven's bedroom to find her putting on earrings. When I got in the room, she turned around and her eyes shined for a second. She came to me, held me by my waist and looked at my eyes.

"You are so beautiful, Bee. I really hit the jackpot with you." Her voice was so soft and caring, I almost melted in her arms. She placed her hand on my cheek and kissed me. I placed my arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer to deepened the kiss. I felt like everything slowed down and we were the only people on earth.

Raven pulled away and smiled at me showing her fangs a little bit, even thought I had seen them multiple times, they still made me shiver. I looked at the time and realized it was almost 7, so the boys were going to be here really soon. I was getting anxious thinking about seeing people again and got lost in my thoughts, when I heard the doorbell ring.

My eyes shot open and I felt my heart pounding, I didn't know why I was this afraid of seeing people I already met, it never had happened.

"Calm down, I can hear your heart beat from over here, we're just gonna have fun and nothing bad will happen, okay? Come here." Raven opened her arms, welcoming me. I hugged her and felt my heart slow down as I basked in her sent.

"We need to go open the door now, don't want our visitors to wait, right?" She laughed it off and took my hand bringing me downstairs. We got closer to the door and I saw the two silhouettes standing on the other side of the blurred glass. I held Raven's hand tighter, but as soon as I did that, flashbacks went through my mind and I let go of her hand almost instantly. She gave me a mocking, but concerning look. She opened the door and let the two men enter the house.

"Ravennn, how are you?" Ivo asked opening his arms to give her hug. Raven pushed his hands down and gave him a smile. He gave the smile back, knowing that she didn't really like physical touch.

"I'm fine, how are you?"

"I'm good, we haven't invited each other for so long, what's the occasion?" He looked at me from the corner of his eyes and smiled.

"I thought that Bee should socialize a bit more... except for the party," Raven paused and glanced at me, "she hasn't seen anyone, in a 'friend' way, you know?"

Raven and Ivo continued talking while I looked at Milo by his master's side. He looked back at me and smiled, but didn't talk to me. I waved at him and he waved back, but still didn't talk.

"Um... hi." I tried starting the conversation, but he just gave me an intense look and looked at Ivo then back at me. I think he needs his approval to talk, so I stopped talking to him and waited by Raven's side. She noticed this right away and told us to just go in the living room and talk. Ivo said the same to Milo, so we went there and started talking.

"So how are you and Mistress Raven?" Milo asked me as soon as we entered the living room.

"Well today was really good, but only because she made a promise to me..." I looked down remembering that all we did today and how she treated me was only a promise.

"What was the promise?" Milo asked with his brows knitted together in worry.

"That she wouldn't do anything bad to me, but how are you?" I changed the subject as soon as I could, I didn't want to be sad right now.

"Oh okay, well I'm good, me and my master have been doing really well, he even proposed to me!" He smiled and showed the ring on his finger. It was gold with a big diamond in the middle, framed by smaller ones on each side of it.

"Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!" I smiled, but deep inside me, I was sad that I didn't have the same connection with Raven. Maybe one day, I mean she can't abuse me forever right?
