We finished eating and the first one to talk was Ivo, "So, Raven, have you decided if she's the one?"
Raven's eyes shot open, glaring at Ivo. She wiped her mouth and took a pause. This was going to be interesting...

"Tell me you didn't just ask me that in front of her." Raven looked right into his eyes, piercing his soul. Ivo chuckled a little bit, it didn't seem to phase him. As for me, I tried hiding the fact I was almost shacking, I looked at Raven who had her hands closed loosely in fists. That was good, it meant she wasn't planning on doing anything bad... yet.

"You don't need to answer," he said looking at his plates, then he lifted his eyes and gave her a mocking smile, "I just thought it would be better if Bee knew the answer too..."

I really appreciated the fact he was trying to help me, but right now, I was only scared it was going to get turned on me. I glanced at Raven once again, still trying to decrypt her body language. Her jaw was clenched and she was looking at me. I shivered in my seat and bowed my head as soon as I noticed her staring.

"Would you like to know, Bee?" Raven addressed herself to me this time, but I wasn't sure what to answer and I didn't want to answer.

"Uh, I don't know..." I played with my fingers trying to avoid the question as much as possible.

"Don't lie." Her voice was sterner than before, which only stressed me more.

"I-..." I paused thinking quickly of what to answer, "whatever you want, mistress." I felt blood rushing to my ears and my face, I don't think I've ever used that term in front of people and it felt embarrassing.

"Bee, I asked what YOU wanted, now answer the fucking question." Raven took a deep breath in, probably trying to calm herself.

"Y-yes... I want to know." My face was still burning, I glanced at where Milo was, he had wide eyes, but when he noticed me starring, he smiled softly. It was his silent way of telling me things where going to be fine and I hoped he wasn't lying.

Raven nodded comprehensively and looked at Ivo, "Yes I do think she's the one," she paused, peering at me, "but even thought I don't want to admit it, I know I'm not taking good care of her...  And you," she fixated her eyes on Ivo, "you know why I'm like this, hence the reason why the question shocked me, at least coming from YOUR mouth."

"Sorry, dear. You know I have to challenge you once in a while," Ivo smiled and raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I know... and you're the only one who's crazy enough to do so, I guess that's why I keep you around." Raven said mockingly, but it was clearly a joke. They both started laughing, releasing the tension trapped in the air. My shoulders got back down and my tomato red face went back to it's normal colour.

Raven took my hand and rubbed her thumb in circles, trying to calm me. Her words kept resonating in my head, I was astounded  that she felt bad... I didn't know if it was a good or bad thing, but if she was aware that how she treated me wasn't healthy and she didn't want to admit it, it had to mean she's not naturally bad. Anyone who would be, wouldn't acknowledge the fact that it's abnormal. Not to mention she said that Ivo knew why she was like that, maybe I could ask him about it one day.

"So what do you want to do now?" Ivo asked to me and Milo.

"How about a horror movie?" Raven answered bringing the attention to her. Milo approved right away, while I was a little bit more hesitant. I had never seen a horror movie. Hell, I've never chosen a movie to watch, the only tv I could use always had something playing and when you have an alcoholic mother who stays home all day, the tv is never free.

When everyone agreed, we split the tasks, Ivo made some popcorn while me and Milo chose the chips and candy. Raven installed the movie and brought blankets downstairs so we could all be warm and cozy. We brought everything in the living room and started the movie.

At first, I wasn't scared, but gradually, jump-scares started to appear. I naturally clutched onto Raven to try and protect me and of course, she noticed right away and chuckled.

"Are you scared, my little Bee?" She whispered in my ear. I nodded and snuggled closer to her. She wrapped her arm around me and we proceeded to watch the movie. I felt safe at that moment, like I would never have to be scared again, but I'm a realist with to much hope, so I knew it would go back to how it was one day.

The movie finished while I was still holding my hands to my face. We placed everything back to it's place and said goodbye to Milo and Ivo. They closed the door behind them and right when the door clicked, Raven pinned me to the wall.

"Do you know how good you smell right now?" She growled in the crook of my neck, smelling my blood even more.

"R-Raven, please don't..." I squirmed, keeping my head to the side.

"How did you call me?" My eyes shot open when I realized the mistake I had done.

"I'm- im sorry, mistress. I didn't mean to-" I tried apologizing quickly, but she interrupted me.

"Get on your knees." She backed away, looking down at me.

"No, please don't, I didn't mean to call you that, I'm sorry..." I felt tears threatening to come out, so I kept my head low to hide it.

"You were clutching to me so badly, and now you don't even want to have fun? What a pity."

"I was scared, I'm sorry. Just please don't do anything bad." I was still looking at the ground to hide the silent tears coming down my cheeks, but Raven decided to lift my chin up.

"You're even crying... I really broke you." She smiled to herself like it was an accomplishment. I could feel rage rising inside me, my whole body felt like it was burning.

"You. Didn't. Break. Me." I looked at her in the eyes, not even caring if she did anything to me. She smirked and lifted her eyebrows, she was impressed.

"Okay then, let's go upstairs... I did promise I wouldn't do anything, right?" She shrugged it off, but still managed to sound sarcastic.

"Yeah, you did. It would be appreciated if you kept your promise." I was still looking directly in her eyes, challenging her authority.

"We'll see about that..." she smirked and walked up the stairs. I waited a couple of seconds before following her... she was definitely not going to keep her promise of 'no touching'.
