39-terrible truths

Unless that's what I think it was... passing out, but it easily could've been something else...

I woke up and first thing I noticed was that I was laying in Raven's lap.

"Did we change rooms?" I ask her confused as to why I was seing when I didn't see shit before.

"No..." she looks off to the side. She seems to be contemplating on what to say to me, like she is trying to break some bad news. "Euh, Bee. Know that I had no choice, okay..."

"What did you do?" I cut her off, not wanting to hear what she was about to say, but I knew exactly what was about to get out of her mouth.

"It's hell here, you wouldn't have survived and I'm to weak to always heal you, so now you'll heal yourself."

I sit up straight and look in her eyes. "Are you telling me you turned me?" I was in disbelief. How could she do that to me. I didn't want to live forever.

"Yes, Bee, I had to... I wouldn't be able to live if you died."

"Don't you think about me sometimes? I don't want to be a vampire. I don't want to live if it means I have to be like this. I don't want to be a monster!" I screamed in her face.

She caressed my cheek lovingly and a tear fell down the side of her face. "I'm sorry, but I need you to get out of here, Bee. I'm gonna come up with a plan and we'll get out of here, okay? And it has to be quick... I won't have enough  strength in a couple of weeks. They starve us here. Besides you'll have to drink to."

"W-what? Drink? What do you mean?" She can't be meaning what I think, right? It can't be real.

"Bee, you're becoming a vampire right now. When I was drinking from you, it had been months since my last meal. I couldn't contain myself. You died."  Raven looked down at the ground, ashamed.

"But how did I come back then?" I still didn't get it, I had to understand.

"Well I knew I was going to drain you. It's only natural for a predator to devour its pray when they haven't eaten in ages... so when I was drinking from you, I released a venom into your neck. It's a built in system you get when you get turned. It gets released from our canines, goes to the brain and changes it, bringing it back to our human instincts." She explained.

"So right now I'm turning?"

"Yeah, well it's been 4 hours since you died. So the venom should really kick in soon and I don't want to scare you, but it hurts." Raven precise, making me doubt my whole life even more.

Did I really want to live like this?

"You're lucky thought, I think Oscar is leaving me alone for a while. Usually he comes in every two hours and tortures me..."

"What do you mean he tortures you?" I just couldn't believe it, how could someone torture Raven? She's way to powerful.

"He teamed up with a witch. She developed some sort of restraint that burns like hell. If he ever put you on those," she points to some chains hanging from the wall, "don't pull, okay?"

"I'm scared, Raven." I get closer to her so we can cuddle. She changed. They really broke her and I hate myself for thinking like this, but maybe it was for the best. Now thought, I'm stuck here too and we need to find a way to get out. I don't think it will be easy.

"I know, I'll find a way to get us ut of here... if he comes in , I want you to act like you're still human." She said bringing my chin up.

"Okay..." I didn't know what to do, hell, I didn't even know if I wanted to live.

"Good girl." she brought me closer to her, hugging me with more force than before and kissed my forehead, "I missed you so much, Bee. You have no idea."

"Me too, I wasn't able to live without you... OMG, Raven. This was all to much so I kinda forgot, b-but Ana..."

"What happened?"she interrupted me.

"They shot her..." I started crying again.

"Where Bee? Where did they shoot her?" She didn't even seem concerned so I took that as a queue to stop crying.

"In the chest, right in her heart..."

"She'll live, if you want to kill a vampire with a gun, you need to shoot them in the head. Anywhere else, it'll just regrow," she said, giving me a comforting look.

"Really? Then why didn't they kill her?" I ask her as confused.

"Well they probably wanted her to get out of the way or the vampires on the mission were to young to know that shooting in the heart doesn't kill us."

Knocking was heard on the door. Raven shot her head up, looking at whoever was walking in. The fat man from before walked in.

"Oh wow! The lovers reunited... Raven I really thought you would kill her. It's a bit disappointing if you ask me, but I guess that now I have one more toy, is that right little bird?" He kneels down before us.

"If you touch her, I'll kill you, Oscar. Don't test me." Raven snapped back at him.

"How many times did you tell me you would kill me? Now look in front of you. Am I alive?" He teased.

"Maybe, but I didn't have someone to fight for."

"Oh well, I don't really care, you can try if you want, maybe it'll bring some action into my life... but now, were gonna have some fun." Oscar called some men in, they took Raven and chained her to the chains hanging from the wall. The ones that were designed by a witch.

"Raven..." it was barely hearable, but I somehow forgot that everyone in this room, including me apparently, were vampires, so everyone heard it.

"You want to save her, my little Bee? To bad I guess, she'll want to save you too..." he started laughing hysterically while one of the men took me and brought me up to the middle of the room.

"NO, LEAVE HER ALONE, TAKE ME INSTEAD, PLease..." she trashed around causing one of the chains to light up a bit. She screamed. She looked in the most pain I had ever seen someone in. As I got told to get on my knees. I looked at her and thought it would be better to just listen. If I had learned one thing while being in Raven's care, it's that if you listen, nothing really bad happens, but then again, sometimes I did everything I could and bad things happened...

I got on my knees, terrified of what would happen. Then I heard a familiar crackling. A whip. I looked up to Oscar who had an evil smile on his face and plead with my eyes.

The whip came crashing down on my back, I screamed while getting up and running away into a corner.

"You shouldn't have done that... now it'll be much worst." He came closer to me, unbuckling his pants.

How could I get myself into these situations again and again.
