comforting tunes

"I will tell you if you just let me in" she said from the other side of the door.
"How do I know a certain someone isn't there?" you asked "it depends on who the certain someone is" skye sighed. "Well I'm by in the mood for talking right now" you said returning to your bed burying your face back into your pillow. "Why not are you sure your ok?" Skye asked

"I'm fine" you told her. She tried to open the door and it did. You didn't notice until her voice sounded clearer than it did before. She seen you and seen the mental state you were in. She let the door cracked and sat next to you rubbing your back. "Your not fine (y:n)" she said comfortingly

" why does he do this to me at the worst times? " You asked your voice was muffled because of you clutching onto the pillow. "What happened?" She asked

" I gave him all of my heart and he did the one thing everyone else does,shatter it and leave me here alone to fend off my own demons" you sobbed. Skye hugged you tightly and you let go of the pillow and hugged her.

"Its ok I've went through this too" she sighed. She pulled away and you wiped away your tears leaving your eyes red and puffy. They still held the glossy tears but they refused to fall blurring your vision.

"Its ok (y:n) you always have us and we are here to help you get through anything same with peely ok" she said running her fingers through your hair.
"Skye the gold it's gone" you said looking at her. She nodded softly smiling and your tears finally made it out.

"Do you need ollie?" She asked taking Ollie off her head. " no thank you" you said petting ollie. Skye put it back on her head and decided to let you have a few minutes to yourself. "Call any of us if you need anything" she said before leaving.

All you could do we try to get your mind off of him. You grabbed a small box from under your bed and opened it to see a blue thumb piano. Or so you liked to call it that.
You picked it up and flicked a few of the keys each one making a tune different from the rest.

You played a small tune you had remembered from your childhood.  (Video) It was from a movie your mom had shown you once.

You missed the time and it made you smile softly as you played it. The castle in the sky was the name of the tune. You haven't played this in years but you still remembered it. You played it continuously and enjoyed the soft luluby like music that was just at your fingertips.

But little did you know you weren't the only one listening to it. Midas came in the room and you were distracted by the soft tune of the music. He sat at the end of your bed and you stopped playing. "That sounds familiar" he said sitting at the end of the bed.

" yeah it's from a movie my mom shown me I miss playing this" you said smiling flicking a few of the notes."Skye told me about you and how you were and I've talked with peely and he feels the same way" he sighed

"Well if he felt the same way why couldn't he just say sorry and move on with it? Why can't he tell me he feels the same way?" You sighed the sad feeling returning.
You traced the outline of the design on the small thumb piano you held in your hand with your finger. The design was a small skull with flowers surrounding the bottom of it.

" Because he knew you wouldn't listen so he just told me to tell you and you and peely make a good couple so please talk to him he needs you as much as you need him" he said placing a hand on your shoulder.

"Fine but not until I feel better which may be a while or if he talks first" you sighed heavily. "Ok well remember if you need us-"
"Just call I know" you said cutting him off.
He smiled and left leaving you there with your thoughts and the small piano that you held in your hands.

You decided to go and grab something to nibble on. You still clutched onto the small instrument not wanting to let go of it because it brought you joy and happiness. You walked down the hallway and found the kitchen you were surprised to see no one there.

So you just sat on the counter and continued to play the tune. You were hoping no one else were around to hear. You liked listening to it in peace without the pressure of someone else hearing it or watching you. You enjoyed the comforting song as it reached into your heart pulling you from yourself and making you happy and bublelyer than usual.

It really pulled out your inner child and you remember your family every time you listened. How you had So much fun with them playing around watching movies cooking together and So much more. Then you were reminded on how you had to leave them for the job.

You thought it was going to be fun spying on everything but you realised there's much more to it than that. You missed your family and wanted to visit them sometime soon but they were too far away. On a different island to be exact.

Once you heard something again from the doorway you stopped and seen peely. You looked down at the instrument and he came over. You looked up at him still saying nothing. All he did was lay his head on your shoulder. You were surprised but took his apology. That's if he ment it.

You wrapped your arms around his shoulder embracing him as he pulled you closer. "I'm sorry (y:n) I didn't mean anything I said I was just frustrated " he sighed "i-im sorry too peely I didn't know what I would do if I ever lost you" you whispered

You pulled away and he kissed you softly. Your foreheads touched as you pulled away looking deeply into each others eyes. "I missed your touch" he sighed " I missed yours too" you said smiling.

"Can't you believe it?we defeated oro and Maya meaning no more shadow drama" you giggled. "Yeah and I can't believe we made it out alive" he chuckled
" And I'm happy for it" you said booping his nose. "So am I my kitten" he said lifting you from the counter and a lifted you up in the air. You squealed at his sudden action and he hugged you. You giggled at him and hugged back.

"I really liked that tune" he said sitting you onto the table. " thank you my mom gave this to me and she used to play it when getting me to sleep it's from the movie castle in the sky it's one of my favorites " you explained looking down at it.

He cupped your face in his hands forcing you to look up at him. He kissed your forehead and made you blush. You wrapped your arms around him again and he embraced you. "I love you (y:n)" he whispered

" I love you too peely" you whispered back. He kissed you letting your lips meet. He moved from the kiss and started kissing your neck softly making you shudder.

"I missed your fluffy kisses" you giggled he hugged you again never wanting to let go. You nuzzled his chest burying your face in it blushing. He lifted you from the table and carried you like a four year old that fell asleep in a car.You let him carry you up to his room thankfully not coming across any other agents.

He played you down in his bed and closed the door. You toyed around with the small instrument again and he sat next to you and was intrigued. "How do you play that so nicely?" He asked
"Its not how you play it it's what you play" you said smiling "you want to try?" You asked handing it to him he nodded and took it carefully .

You shown his what notes to play and when to play them. Once he finally tried to play it fully there were a few mistunes but he still did pretty well. You snuggled up against him and he layed down bringing you with him. He set the small instrument on the night stand and held you close.

"Love you (y:n)" he whispered
"Love you too peely" you whispered back before falling asleep in his grasp.
