You were having a regular monday

Or so you thought

Today was just off
You felt like everything had something wrong with it. You never wanted to sit down or stand still for too long.
You feared something may happen.

You always stayed by Peely in case anything happened to him before it got to you.
You jumped at every slight noise or movement. You looked around every corner before turning.

The other agents have noticed.
Midas decided to just let you do you because even he got like that sometimes.
Tina just observed trying to find out what's wrong.
Brutus and Meowcles also noticed and tried to ask you want was wrong but you didn't even know what was wrong.

And Skye...was just being Skye.
Off doing her own thing.

You were walking around outside.with Peely along the shore. Off the agency property. Peely kicked at the water from time to time to time and you just watched smiling.

"So y:n what's wrong?" He asked now walking beside you.
"Huh? Oh nothing I'm fine" you shrugged
"Y:n" he started
"No really I'm ok no need to worry I just have been jumpy lately nothing much" you told him.

You heard something move behind you and you immediately looked behind you. Nothing was there.
"Did you hear that?" You asked moving closer to Peely. Gripping the pocket knife in you hoodie pouch.

"Y:n your just paranoid" he said kissing your forehead. You huffed softly and held his hand comfortingly.
You and him started to walk back to the agency when you heard it again.

You had the same reaction and Peely sighed.
"What?" You asked
"Your paranoid" he told you bluntly
"No I'm not I just heard something I'm fine" you told him again.

You continued walking back and you heard it again having again the same reaction.
"Ok y:n what's wrong?" He asked turning to you.
"Look I told you-"
"And I told you,look if theirs something bothering you just tell me and I will take care of it" he sighed grabbing your other hand.

"Ok I'm just...im hearing these noises" you said looking over to the small group of trees. "Well I'm here so if anything happens I will be here" he smiled softly.

Then you heard a gun click.
You perked up immediately and looked around quickly trying to spot where you heard the noise.
Peely notice and looked around with you just not as quickly.

You then hurled yourself into Peely knocking him back behind a tree. You rolled slightly and eventually got back to his side.
You heard a gunshot and a bullet zoomed passed you cutting a piece of your hair.

You immediately ducked behind the large rock with him.
"Who was that?" He asked
You put your hand over his mouth silencing him quickly.
You peeked around the side and didn't spot anyone.

"Where did that bullet come from?" You whispered to yourself.
"What kind was it?" Peely asked
You picked up the shell of the bullet and examined it.
"A pistol they have to be near by" you mumbled
You pulled out the pocket knife and slowly came out from behind the rock looking around.

"Stay there you might get hurt" you told him.
"What? No I can't have you getting hurt either"
"Peely,just stay there" you whisper yelled at him.

Looking around you heard the gun click again but closer.
You turned around and seen sorana.
She had a gun pointed to your collar bone.
You thought after the last encounter with her you weren't going to see her again but boy were you wrong.

"Y:n!" Peely squeaked
"Peely,stay there" you said raising your hand at him dropping your knife.
"But y:n-"
"Just stay. There. Dont move I want to make it out alive and so do you,trust me" you said stopping him.
