you yell at your boyfriend.
you and kenji are having a little argument over that kenji can be a little mean sometimes.
"i'm not mean i'm honest!"
he yells back

you try your hardest not to cry, knowing if you do he'll make fun of you.
which is why y'all are fighting.
he teases you about everything, to the point it isn't funny or cute.

he can tell you're on the verge of tears but refuses to apologize or back down.
"god don't cry, you're such a cry baby!"
he turns around so he doesn't have to face you and continues watching tv.

your heart sank and hot tears began to run down your face.
you tell your self he doesn't mean it but his words hurt sometimes.
you just stood there, tears still flooding, getting hard to talk or breath.
you sniffle and grab your coat and slip on your shoes and leave.

just as kenji was about to turn around you had already slammed the door.
he growls loudly and takes a deep breath realizing he's a jerk.

he puts on his shoes and goes out to find you.
you walked to the park and sat on a bench still crying.
you loved your boyfriend, you just wished he'd be a little nicer and respectful of your feelings.

about 20 minutes later you still sat on that bench.
kenji finally found you.
he saw the back of your head and sighed.
he walked behind you and put (your favorite drink) on the seat next to you.

you look at the drink and look away from it.
he growled a little and stepped over the bench and sat next to you.
you didn't turn your head to look at him.

he twiddled his thumbs for a bit
"grrrrr, (y/n) i'm sorry!"
"i didn't mean to make you cry."

you sniffled.
"you really don't need to be so mean and harsh."
"i can't tell you what you say hurts because you'll make fun of me for being a baby"

he finally realized he's been a real jerk.
"hey babe, i'm sorry i really don't mean to make you sad."
"and the things i tease are the things i like"
"like your puffy pouting face, you're clumsy, you can't cook, you're height, how loud you are at my games"
"i like those things"
"idk how to tell ya and it just comes out mean"

you sighed and chuckled a little at your dumbass boyfriend.
"you're such a meany!"

he laughed a little and pulled your head to lay on his shoulder.

"i know, i know"
