Yeonmi's POV:

I nervously bit my fingers as I thought of what could happen to the kids. I continued to think of negative thoughts until I heard a knock on my office door. I raised my brow, hoping that nothing bad has happened to the top trainees.

I got up from the chair and opened the door. I was greeted by the enormous amount of guards displayed infront of me. "Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"There... There are kids missing, they must've escaped. Ms. Kim, sorry." I tried to contain the feeling of relief that just washed over me. "Who exactly are the kids?"

"The top trainees, but we don't know where they went." The guard explained. I nodded and sighed, faking. "What will madam do if she found out about this, hm?" I smirked.

"That's completely under our responsibility Ms. Kim." he gulped. I chuckled lowly before saying,

"Release Code 7."

I stayed in my office the whole day, taking in the information that the trainees have escaped successfully.

The guards still haven't stopped searching.

"Code 7. Code 7! Missing trainees." —
was repeatedly heard outside. I clicked my tongue. I ruffled my hair in frustration. "How will they know that the facility actually-"

"Ms. Kim!" I heard a high pitched voice outside. "Yes?" I answered. I walked up to the door once again. "What can I help you with, madam?" I smiled, not so genuinely.

"My office, now." She gritted her teeth in annoyance. I secretly smirked. Wow, she must've been really annoyed. Her top trainees escaped the facility, how sad.

I walked after the head of KQ. She seemed so distressed that she's putting all her anger at me. "Sit down." she huffed.

"Yes?" I asked once again. She chewed on her bottom lip. "Aren't you the obe incharge with the trainees that escaped?" I nodded my head to her words.

"Yes, yes I am. I was simply at my office, organizing paperworks you told me to. I wouldn't have known that they escaped if the guards didn't tell me." I made up my story.

I saw her almost turn red. "The guards." she whispered. "Don't let your anger issues take control." I grinned before turning back and exiting.
