Chong dan Armand masuk ke bilik Khairil. Janice masih lagi duduk terdiam diatas kerusinya. Dia masih lagi kaget dengan apa yang berlaku. Dia sangka Khairil seorang yang chill & laid back, anak orang kaya yang hanya goyang kaki biar pekerja-pekerja sahaja yang buat kerja separuh mati. Apa yang berlaku dalam office dia tak peduli, ternyata dia salah. Ada sesuatu di dalam diri Khairil yang lain dari bapanya.

"Chong, Armand duduk" arah Khairil

"So tell me again why you guys decided to promote Yvonne as new department lead?" tanya Khairil kepada Chong dan Armand

"Khairil, Yvonne dah lama dekat sini, I think it' time for her to shine. So we thought it is a wise decision to promote her into this new role" balas Chong

"To be honest Khairil, I prefer the external candidate. His qualification and portfolio are impressive and even the special assignment yang kita nak test pon very very good. His creative direction sesuai dengan apa yang you nak for the new Finsberry..but Chong and Janice prefer Yvonne. 2 vs 1 so what to do.." balas Armand sambil mengangkat bahunya.

Chong dan Janice berpaling sesama sendiri. Khairil menyimpul tangannya ke dada. Dia mahu jawapan yang jujur dari Chong. Walaupun dia sudah tahu jawapannya.

"Look at this artwork Chong..She's using comic sans font for this special assignment campaign and don't get me started on the choice of color.." kata Khairil sambil menunjukkan hasil kerja Yvonne.

"Aiyaaa..nampak cantik saja. Ok ma" balas Chong

"If this was done 20,30 years ago maybe it is good la. Now dah 2020, wake up! Compare to what this guy did, this is very current and fresh. If we want to be top player in this industry or even mana-mana industry we need to adapt or else sampai bila-bila pon kita dekat belakang...So tell we what was my father famous quote again"

"Finsberry number one, Nestle dekat belakang" balas Armand

"Exactly! so every decisions we're making are very important. Especially hiring someone for this kind of big role" kata Khairil tegas. Bilik itu dibiarkan sepi seketika. Telah hilang kata dari mulut Chong dan Janice. Armand tersenyum sinis dia tahu dia dipihak yang betul.

"So Chong, bila you nak bagitau I yang Yvonne ni is your niece" kata Khairul selamba memecah kesunyian. Riak wajah Arman terkejut, sekarang dia tahu kenapa Chong beria mahukan Yvonne.

"Matilah kau Chong, dengan Jalal boleh la kau nak kencing, dengan anak dia ni kau mati hidup balik pun belum tentu" bisik Armand sendiri.

"Eh Khairil not like that la, cause I think she deserve it" balas Chong tidak mahu mengalah

"Stop bullshitting me, you ingat ni company bapak you ke? nak hire orang masuk pakai kabel family semua ni. This is my father company lah.. even bagi pilihan pon I don't think I deserve to sit on this chair or even want to sit in this chair" kata Khairil marah.

"Look..I mean, I don't care she's your niece or not, as along as she deserve the position, she should get the position. But she did not deserve this Chong..clearly there's someone else who's better fit and deserve the position..so pulling the string just because she's your niece is very unprofessional" kata Khairil lagi seperti singa mahu menerkam mangsa. Suasana tegang, bilik itu kesunyian lagi

"Sorry Khairil" balas Chong memecah kesunyian. Lelaki pertengah 40an itu cuba untuk tidak memandang tepat ke Khairil

"Janice, please proceed with hiring the external candidate Shah Reza and do this ASAP...All those designers and copywriters need someone to lead them urgently, No offense Armand, but I don't think you can support this team any longer, 22 orang je dah under dia plus he and his team need to work on all the new marketing plan yang I nak.. and please arrange the workstation so that marketing and creative now separated but I believe they still work closely.." kata Khairil
