I guess... A lot of these are gonna be Frerard since I ain't gettin' any protests

And this is based off of a small phanfic I read off of tumblr, and everything here is what I gather from memory.

-

Just as Gerard opened his locker, a small card fell out. He picked it up, opening it and reading the letter.

Frank looked at him over his shoulder, smiling slightly as he shoved the note back into his pocket. He hasn't put his name on the card, and he knew that even Gerard couldn't recognize his own handwriting.

At lunch, Frank sat down with Ray, whom already finished his chicken sandwich. Ray gave him a thumbs up, and swallowed down his mashed potatoes. "Keep doing that- keep putting notes in his locker. I guarantee that he'd start asking the others whom it is that keeps putting notes in his locker, but don't say that it was you."

And that cycle repeated everyday. Frank quietly placed a note in Gerard's locker, saying something cheesy like, "You don't realize how cute you look when you smile."

One day, Gerard sat next to him in English class due to a partner-work assignment. Internally screaming, Frank decided to play it cool and say hello.

"Hi," Frank said, placing his binder aside and moving his water bottle on top of it. "Fucking group effort projects, I hate them."

Gerard nodded. "Same, anyways, I was gonna hang out with you today, cause Mikey ran off with Ray. Can't you believe it?"

"I know, but I'd like to say that they look cute together to be honest," I added, and he agreed.

"Now all we need to complete the set is for us to get together," He chuckled at his own joke, staring down at the papers being set in front of us.

Ouch, I thought. He did seem oblivious, I bet even if I showed him my handwriting, he wouldn't even know who was behind the cards.

Handing me a paper as I grabbed a pencil, I thanked him while he spoke again. "While we're on the topic, I keep finding these cards in my locker. I've been thinking that it's Lyndsey, as people told me that she has a crush on me. To be honest, I don't swing that way."

Thank god you don't, if you did, I'd be sobbing by now, I thought, thankful for his sexuality.

"How about you? Do you have the hotsies for anyone?" He asked, trying to pry me open.

"Yeah- this guy that I've known for quite some time, and we're in a few of the same classes, I don't think he likes me back, though," I said, resting my head on my hand. He mimicked my actions. "What are you planning on doing about Lyndsey?"

He shrugged, sitting upright and grabbing his pencil. "I don't know, maybe tell her in a nice way that I don't like her- let's get started on this,"

"Yeah."

Your smile makes me laugh, your laugh makes me giggle. Don't forget that.

~ The one right in front of your eyes ~

The 'one right in front of your eyes' had become a thing that I had started to use a few weeks later, when we began to start talking much more frequently.

He showed me the cards, and even told me, "I really wanna meet this guy. He seems interesting,"

I had helped him break it down that it couldn't have been a girl, 99.9% of them know he's gay now due to his encounter with Lyndsey the other day. So it had to be a guy, and a guy that was gay and knew him. It broke down to our small group of friends and a few aquaintences in class, Pete, Brendon, Ryan, and Patrick.

One day, Ray had told me about how it may be soon to reveal myself.

I had attended to school early (which became a daily routine for me, so I'd be able to pop the message into his locker.) but as I headed around the corner to get to my first class, a familiar voice started to come up behind me.

"Frank?! Frank, is that you?"

I hunched over, speeding up my pace as I walked away.

I had to sit next to Gerard for the project, though, which ended up going horribly wrong.

"I saw you stop by my locker to drop the note," He said as I bit my lip.

"I know."

"Let me tell you something," He leaned closer to me.

"I think it's kinda cute."
