When You Have a Nightmare

Midoriya:

It was only a brief moment, but Midoriya had awoken to check the time on the clock that sat on his nightstand. After peering at the glowing block numbers, he rolled back over and wrapped and arm around you. Midoriya rested his head on yours, closing his eyes again. A few minutes later, you started to fidget. It was almost like you were trying to get away from him. He ignored it, trying to get back to sleep. Until he heard you speak.

"No... please,"

You were talking in your sleep? That was really pretty unusual since you slept pretty soundly. [A.N: I apologize if you're an insomniac, I have a couple friends who are.] You started breathing heavily, tossing your head like you were trying to shake something. Midoriya quickly figured out you were having a nightmare.

"(Y/n), (Y/n) wake up." he said, shaking your shoulder. Your eyes shot wide open, fear burned behind them. You were panting a little and now gathering the fact that what just happened was only a nightmare.

Midoriya could tell you seemed a little scared still, so he hugged you close, your head resting on his chest. You could hear his heartbeat from within.

"I... I couldn't..." you wanted to explain what you saw in your frightening dream.

"Don't worry (Y/n), it was just a nightmare." he said in a soothing tone. Midoriya combed his fingers through your hair, occasionally switching to rub your back. Your frantic breathing calmed down, and you relaxed in his arms. Once you were sure it was safe to fall back asleep, your eyes fluttered closed, Midoriya still holding you.

Bakugou:

Since Bakugou's a light sleeper, he automatically jumped awake when he felt you squirming next to him.

'What the h***?' he thought. He watched you as your arm suddenly jerked and almost slapped him.

"Stay back..." you mumbled in your sleep. Bakugou watched as the hand closest to him balled up into a fist.

'What the ****?...' he thought. 'Dumba**'s having a nightmare looks like.' Bakugou reached over, shaking your shoulder. "Hey moron, wake up." You immediately sat up, ready for a fight.

"Wha-... where are they?" you said, looking to take down the same monster you were fighting in your dreams.

"Where's what?" he asked you, a little annoyed. You relaxed your shoulders, taking a deep breath and exhaling a shaky breath. "Hey, c'mere," he said, almost gently. He laid you back down with his arm around you. You snuggled up close to him, inhaling his scent. "Whatever you were fighting in that dream of yours, they ain't coming," he said quietly. "I'm not going to ****ing let them, not without a fight." Bakugou could feel you relax even more against him in the dark, and he could tell you fell back asleep with a slight smile.

Todoroki:

You were usually a rather quiet sleeper, not really stirring much in the night.

However, tonight was not like any other night.

Since Todoroki's such a light sleeper, he instantly noticed when you were squirming in the spot next to him. You said something, but he couldn't quite make out what.

'Are they having a nightmare?' he thought to himself. Yes, they were.

Todoroki reached over and gently caressed your cheek. You swatted his hand away in your sleep as you continued to fight the demon in your dreams.

"Hey, (Y/n), wake up," he said quietly. "It's only a dream." He gently shook your shoulder to wake you and your eyes shot wide open, pupils blown wide with fear. Your eyes scanned the dark bedroom for the thing you saw only seconds ago.

"You were having a nightmare, weren't you?" he asked you. You nodded there in the dark, not really sure if he could tell or not. Todoroki coaxed you back down to the bed and he laid there and listened as your breathing became even again.

When he was sure you were completely asleep, Todoroki leaned over, brushing a strand of your hair from your face and planting a light kiss on your forehead.

Kirishima:

It was quiet and peaceful, then the next thing Kirishima knew, you were fighting against him in your sleep.

The sheets were tangled and tied around your legs, egging you on even further into thinking something had you. 

'What's gotten into them?' he thought, sleepily sitting up on one side of the bed to watch you. 'Oh wait... they're having a nightmare. Probably should wake them up.'

Kirishima reached over and shook your shoulder, trying to wake you. You were breathing heavily with your eyes screwed tightly shut.

"(Y/n), (Y/n) wake up!" he whispered. "It's just a dream, (Y/n), wake up." You finally bolted awake, sitting straight up and nearly knocking heads with Kirishima.

"Hey, hey, calm down. It's alright," Kirishima coaxed you. Small beads of sweat formed on your forehead. You frantically looked around, looking for the thing that might still be here to kill you.

"Where is it?" you hissed. "It's gonna take me-"

"Shh, shh, no. No it isn't." he said gently. He put an arm around you and you started to relax. Your erratic breathing starting to become even again. Kirishima calmed you down and was able to get you to lie down again. You snuggled in close to him and he wrapped his arms around you, being sure to protect you from the monsters of your subconscious. 

Kaminari:

You had a nightmare and you couldn't go back to sleep. You laid there in the dark, staring up at your ceiling. You wanted your boyfriend, but you were almost sure he was asleep. You rolled over and looked at the time. It wasn't even two-thirty yet.

Hesitantly,  you reached over to your nightstand to grab your phone. Switching it on, you turned the brightness way down so you wouldn't blind yourself in the dark. You opened your messages between you and Kaminari.

(Y/n): Hey, I had a nightmare
            Can I come stay in your dorm?

You waited a few minutes. You knew he was asleep and he was a heavy sleeper, so chances of him immediately replying were-

Ping! 

He replied.

You opened your phone to read the message.

Kami: yeah sure
            the door's open, just be sure not to get caught
(Y/n): K, thanks

You switched off your phone and kicked the covers off, heading towards the door. You quietly unlocked it with a soft click, and you silently slipped out from your dorm to head down the hall.

Quietly you padded down the dark hallway, the only light you had was coming from one of the streetlights outside a window in the hall. You soon found Kaminari's dorm and you turned the doorknob, finding unlocked like he told you. You opened it and sneaked inside, quietly closing the door so you wouldn't disturb others next door or across the hall.

You heard the ruffling of sheets and a quiet voice. "(Y/n)?"

"Yeah, it's me," you said softly in the dark. Kaminari came over to you, taking you by the hand and leading you over to the bed. You climbed in next to him and fell asleep, feeling safe and secure within your boyfriend's arms.
