When You Get Put Down

[A.N: This happens to me a lot more than I wish it did. People seem to throw their problems at me like they have it worse but then turn around and still tell me my problems aren't any less. Like-... which is it? If this happens to you, I'm really sorry and I hope you'll one day get the courage to stand up for yourself.🙂]

Midoriya:

-He 100% knows how this feels. It happens to him a lot so he knows where you're coming from.

-Gets a little upset when he watches someone do this to you, but he doesn't show it.

-Instead, he'll stop this person (doesn't matter if they're your friend or otherwise) and politely tell them to stop comparing your problems.

-If they try to backpedal and say that it's okay... ho boy... It's like this precious green bean turns dark.

"I'm sorry, I thought (Y/n) was talking about their experience. I didn't know this was your therapy session."

-Will straight up tell them to shut up if they continue, then takes you and leaves.

-Apologizes to you for the way he acted afterward, then does what he can to make you feel better. (Via cuddling, your favorite activity or venting. You choose.)

Bakugou:

-Doesn't stand for it. At all.

-Hates comparing things, especially when people do it to each other.

-You already compare yourself enough, you don't need one more *sshole to keep pointing things out.

-If this person likes to poke fun at you, whether as a joke or an insult- he gets pissed.

-Will tell them to knock it off or else they'll end up in a forever box.

-Will end up in a fist fight if it continues.

-Tells you to stay away from that person because you deserve way better people to be around.

Todoroki:

-Is a little oblivious, but when you tell him what's going on- he's very quick to pick up.

-Very bluntly asks them to stop.

-Ha... don't even get me started if you say you had something bad and this jerk tries to top you- he'll beat both of you.

"You think you're traumatized?"

-Legit, if this person keeps trying to one-up you- he'll win every time until they run out of things.

-Not above insulting them either, or getting physical if the situation calls for it. (Of course, you never let him.)

Kirishima:

-Happened to him quite often so he knows how you feel.

-Will divert the attention back to you.

(To that other person): "This isn't about you. We never were talking about you."

-Politely asks them to stop, because he doesn't really care about them now. He's more focused on you.

-Will talk loudly to drown out what that other person's talking about.

-Definitely gives that person a dirty look.

-Tries not to be aggressive. If anything, he'll try to leave the situation so things don't escalate any further.

Kaminari:

-If he finds out someone does this to you- he'll to it right back to them. They joke about something you're insecure about- he'll insult their outfit. They try to say they had something worse- he goes after their style. They try to move their attention to him- ha ha... wrong move... He becomes a human taser.

-He's all for karma; What goes around comes around and all that fun stuff.

-Not above insulting them to their face. He'll do it a thousand times over if it means they'll quit.

-Kinda likes that he can defend you by getting under their skin just like they got under yours.

-If he runs out of insults, he'll just start using memes until they get so uncomfortable they'll leave.

Iida:

-Probably picks up on this faster than you did.

-Defuses the conversation as quickly as possible.

"Tell me, how is that relevant to the topic at hand? Wait- it isn't."

-Will leave with you if necessary.

-If you're becoming visibly upset, he'll be holding back everything from the thought of throwing hands down to insulting their family.

-Also tells them to stop, but it becomes increasingly more aggressive the more they ignore him.

"I understand you may have had a bad experience, but it isn't you we're talking about. Now is it?"

(Totally will use Shakespearean insults on them afterwards.)
