Narrator's perspective
Does sitting alone, on a rooftop with zero remorse on letting yourself get killed just so your family can go home count as a sin? Is it bad of her to sacrifice herself so that her family would be happy in a place they call home? There is no going back, no one else to do the spell if they ever have the right time to do it.
No tears were shed, No alcohol was spilled or even drank throughout the summer of Camille's last days. She accepted it, ready to die when it's time. Spending all the remaining time with her family was all she needed to be sane, Thinking about that one girl that will be heartbroken once she leaves. The worst part is that that girl will never know she will die...
"It's almost sundown. They're getting ready to escort Harry here."
Camille turned to her side, her sister's figure peaking out the small window while she herself sat on the roof, admiring the sky turn dark.
"I'll catch up in a minute." She said, turning back to see the large house by the distance, where The Weasleys take residence in.
She visited once and hung out with Ron for a couple of days. She couldn't stand sitting there without having to tell them that she'll die and they won't even know because she doesn't want to tell them.
Hope nods without questioning her and closed the window back down. The witch always knew there was something bothering her twin but was afraid to ask, she just assumed it was because Camille is just preserving her powers.
Camille noticed Hope's figure walking to the house from a distance. She sighed, feeling bad that nobody would ever get ready for her death.
She's completely sober and that even surprises her at some times. Camille wanted to spend her remaining time remembering all that happened not blacking out because of the taste of alcohol.
In a split second, she jumped off the roof and caught up with her sister that was already by the door.
"Okay that wasn't fair at all." Hope huffed and they knocked on the door with a laughing Camille right besides her.
"I offered earlier, told you it was a long walk." She shrugged and the door opened, revealed Molly with a gentle smile.
"Girls! Welcome, I assume you're waiting for the others to get here. Come in." Molly smiled and let the door open wider when the twins came in. "Do you want anything? Water? Tea?"
Hope rejected and said they were fine while they sat on the couch. They've been here a couple of times and the first time lead to Camille having to explain to Mrs. Weasley how she needed to actually say that she can come in. It was a mess.
"Did Ron and Mr. Weasley just left?" Asked Camille who sat down besides her sibling.
"They left hours ago, they should be here any minute now." She said assuringly and excused herself while she went to the kitchen.
"Did dad say he's going here?" Camille asked Hope who shook her head in disagreement.
"Something about discussing something with Aunt Freya and the others. He sends his regards."
Camille and Hope talked for the rest of their remaining minutes. All about how they were going to go home and this time, the Vampire could smile genuinely when she hears how excited her other half is.
"Didn't Jo said she wanted to be here?" Hope asked in the sudden realisation that the siphoner was no where to be found.
"Lizzie didn't want her to go. Selfish witch." Camille rolled her eyes, mumbling the last part which Hope clearly heard but didn't mind. They both stopped talking when something fell in the water outside.
