~𝙹𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝙰𝚛𝚝𝚑𝚞𝚛Unhinged and broken was probably the two words best that you can put together on what to describe of what Camille is feeling right now. She had to break a promise— A promise she made to the girl she loves to save her. But it didn't matter anyways, Camille will never see how Hermione reacts if she knew that she had to compel her.
Her feet dragged herself back to reality, her footsteps were loud, leaves crushed by her shoes as if it was delicate. She didn't had the strength to wipe her tears away, hide how much in pain she is because that was what she was feeling. Hurt.
She came back to her sense when she walked towards the circle, opening her coat and took the piece of paper inside of her pocket. She looked at it before looking back up to see her family inside the barrier.
"Camille." Hope sighed in relief, banged on the barrier again but knew it was no use. She felt it too, the heartbreak but only this time was so much worse. It even shocked her to see how perfectly in control her twin looked right now.
Josie, Lizzie, Davina and Freya also stood to their feet. Seeing the girl who was trying to collect every ounce of her humanity and powers right in this moment. The rest of the Vampires were still asleep to prevent a curse from killing them.
"Let us out of here, Cami. You can still make this right." Davina insisted, just a few inches away from the barrier. She could see a huge emotion in the girl's eyes.
Earlier, Hope hushed them as she heard someone from a close distance having a conversation. When she heard the familiar voice of her sister and how she confessed to the love of her life, having to compel Hermione's feelings of her away, Feeling the same heartbreak of losing someone was too hurtful to hear. She told the other witches who also took pity in the Vampire outside of where they were right now.
"My life is link to it so I have no choice." Camille said in a barely whisper, still fazed by what she did to a certain witch. "Dad is dying, Uncle Kol, Elijah and Aunt Rebekah. They're life depends on this so it's not like I have any other choice." She darted her eyes downwards, not wanting to meet any of their eyes. "Only an hour until the moon shows, Waiting game I guess."
She felt cold, her tone sounded cold. It was too much for her to bare. Camille sat down, leaning her back to a tree as she remembered how Hermione begged for her to stop.
"I heard, Cami." Hope called out, never once leaving her eyes on her twin who looked at her in shock. "All of it."
Camille shiften in her seat, looking up to the sky and how blue it looked.
"You are distracting me, Granger" She grinned and opened her eyes to get a good look of Hermione who chuckled under her breath.
"Hey I'm merely telling you the truth. And I also admire your eyes. I love that it looks like the sky when the weather is nice." Hermione said smoothly and a tint of red reached her cheeks in embarrassment for what she said
"And now you're flirting. I don't know what's gotten into you but I like it."
Soon enough, the girl snapped out of it and brought her head down. Defeated but atleast in this way, she had a pretty epic time in this world with a girl that made her feel loved.
"You can come back to her. We still need to control your powers." Hope tried to push her, only to regret it when she saw a few tears shed on Camille's eyes secretly:
