Narrator's perspective
"It's really fine. I kind of deserve it anyways so you have nothing to apologize for." Camille said back, her smile faltering more and more when she saw how upset Hope looked.
"But I had no excuse. God I screwed up badly." She groaned and closed her eyes.
Camille could only laugh. "I would never imagine that you would apologise to me. How the table turns huh."
The two sibling were at the area where they would eat, instead of plates on the table, books and maps surrounded it. There was no space for any of their stuff so they placed it there for their research anyways. While the twins talked and mostly Hope apologizing over and over again, Harry and Hermione was just on the othet side talking while the Granger cuts his hair.
"I heard you talking about mom a few days ago. What was that about?" Hope asked, the curiosity in her eyes was obvious and eager.
"Heat of the moment." She answered back shrugging, flipping through a book that happened to be her journal. She started it and what of her progress on her magic. It was painfully slow process but atleast she's doing something good.
Hope on the other hand looked at her in disbelief. "You don't just talk about mom to anyone. What's up with that?" She pushed more and even took the small journal away from Camille who chuckled and shook her head.
"How about... heat of the moment?" She said the same again and smiled innocently. Honestly, she was enjoying on talking with her sister again. Then again, she's the only person she can be honest to.
The response made Hope look at her with a blank expression. Her hand swinging left and right while she held the diary.
"She wanted to know and I told her, alright? Now give me that or else I'll actually die." Cami said jokingly and it earned the said book to be thrown to her chest as she laughed.
"I thought you said it was a bad idea to get attached?" Hope teased, her arms crossed again while she gave her that looked that would annoy the hell out of Camille.
"I swear if I hear the word 'attached' one more time I might just rip my heart out." She dramatically complained and hid her little notebook while looking at Hope. "And yes, I did say that."
Hope frowned. "Exactly. What happened there?" She wanted answers and was determined to know if her sister has actually fallen head over heels to someone.
"I have no clue. I'll handle it when the day comes for us to leave, I guess." the uncertainty of her tone made Hope nervous. What if she doesn't want to go back home? What if she backs out of the plan and stay for a girl here? "No, Hope. I actually do want to go home and don't even think for a second I'd drop my life there for something I want here." As if she read Hope's mind, she said with a strong look.
"Can't blame me." She raised her hand and brought it to the table in front of her. As the two conversed, Harry and Hermione came dashing to them. "What happened to you two?" She asked and the twins chuckled at how serious they looked.
Hermione didn't even heard Hope when she just sat down by the other side of Camille and flipping through a book she got. "The sword of Gryffindor, It's Goblin made." She said, still looking for something more specific.
It only lead Harry to a deep confusion. "Brilliant?"
"No no, you don't understand. Dirt and rust have no affect on the blade." She said with a huge smile and looked at Harry who was still madly confused. "It only takes in that, that makes it stronger."
"Do you think she's—" Camille whispered over to Hope who slapped her arm and continued to listen to the Brunette who looked as if she was having a mental breakdown from her revelation.
