While the fire surrounded her, she can't help but feel vulnerable just by seeing the girl she loves look at her with so many unreadable expressions. Camille's hand was practically shaking, didn't know what to do now that Hermione was here along with Harry and the others.

"You need to leave." She finally said, turning her back again to get a good grip of herself. "Now, before I make you." She warned and was about to activate the spell when a voice behind her spoke.

"Leave without saying goodbye? That's cold." Ron snorted, determined to stop whatever this was and yet the fire remains to prevent him on jumping his friend. The first thing he did when Hermione told him that Camille was about to leave without bidding goodbye was he felt guilty. He didn't know why but he did and it felt awful.

Camille shook her head and turned around again. "I Might as well be selfish enough to not to. Would you rather be compelled that I never existed?" Though the idea crossed her mind but was never heartless enough to do it.

"You would never do that." Harry spoke, taking a step forward to see how vulnerable she looked right now. He and her might not have the greates track record in friendship but he knows a broken girl when he sees one.

"Tell that to Hermione." Camille said, looking at the awfully quiet girl who had done nothing but stare at her this entire time. "Look, you either watch us leave or turn around and retreat. Your choice." She was about to say the spell that would activate this curse when Hope behind her spoke.

"Camille listen to them. You owe them that." She said seriously, her eyes pleading to her sister to listen as though she was desperate for the people behind that fire to convince Cami.

Camille sighed, taking in a breath before putting the spell away. Ensuring she wouldn't do that while they talk in the mean time. "You want to talk? Fine. Have it your way."

"Normally, Cami. Drop the fire." Hermione said seriously, not one ounce of emotion in her voice that made Camille assume she's mad about the whole compulsion situation.

"I'm perfectly good from where I am." She countered back, her hands behind her back making sure nobody would see how shaky she is now.

Hermione on the other hand was stubborn you see. She walked forward, close enough to be ignited in the heat that made everyone back away and warned her to stop. "Either you drop it or let me get killed." She warned, inching closer and closer to the fire.

"You wouldn't do that..." Camille said in an unsure tone. Her body was begging for her to not let Hermione get hurt in this fight.

"Hermione stop." Harry said in a concerned tone.

"Don't worry, she won't let anything happen to me— so drop the spell, Cami." She was confident in her choice that her hand was getting closer to the flames, slowly torturing the girl behind the fire.

"You won't let me fall to my death so I'm relaxed."

"What makes you so sure?"

Hermione smiled, "Because you won't. I see it in your eyes."

"You got that from staring in my eyes? Such a creep... Yeah you're right. I won't let anything happen to you."

Camille clenched her fist tightly. She lets out the air she has been holding in her throat and raised her hand up, creating a small passage for Hermione to enter which she did suddenly. The fire came back and the only person who could stop her was the one inside the circle of fire.
