As Blake's first class started, he built a certain goal to participate in every class. Gusto niyang lagi siyang natatawag. He is the best example of an honor and active student. While on the other hand, Madison was struggling to answer her quiz in solving math problems though she already took a long review about it last night.
She wished to become an engineer someday, but this dream turned into something far from what she wanted to become before, and it clearly explained why she changed her mind when it comes to her future. She doesn't hate math, she's not just a fan of solving equations. She's not a math lover. Looking at her blank paper sheet, she did what she usually do. Ask for some help and later on, ask if the answers were right.
"Koeli?"
Koeli scratched her neck as she began to feel irritated towards Madison. She didn't have any choice but to move for a bit so that Madison could finally see her answer sheet.
She quickly moved her chair forward and placed her paper on Madison's desk and then acted like nothing happened. Luckily, their subject teacher was busy talking to someone on her phone outside the room. After 10 minutes of copying Koeli's answers, Madison was about to give the paper back to Koeli and she was about to take it from her when she tried to reach it using her left hand—not until their subject teacher announced.
"Okay, pass your answer sheets forward."
"I owe you a lot," Madison whispered.

"Salamat talaga kanina, Koeli." Yumakap siya nang pasalamatan niya si Koeli.
"You're welcome," matipid namang sagot ni Koeli.
"Sure, ano ba gusto mo? House and lot?"
"Siya..."
"Siya lang naman ang gusto ko." Their gaze shifted towards Koeli with the same reaction on their faces.
Koeli started to feel upset, but tried to act like she was fine. She intentionally said it out loud—for them to realize that she still has it, may feelings pa rin siya kahit papaano. She realized, when Eunice and Rei became close to each other—it totally made her sorrowful. She regret everything she saw between the two—though Eunice only sees Rei as her friend.
Masakit pa rin ito para kay Koeli dahil laging may comparison na nangyayari sa pagitan nilang dalawa ni Eunice, and she wasn't comfortable with it.
