Hawks didn't want to knock on this door. He was anxious enough just physically being in a dorm, with unpleasant memories of his own schooling flashing through his head.

But there was no one else he trusted, or at least felt somewhat confident in, that could help right now. No one else who knew the basics of the situation but could also keep a clear, objective perspective.

Endeavor was on the verge of going on a rampage and setting fire to the entire city, if it meant that the League of Villains would be somehow punished.

The little present that they had left at his house, a pair of black panties, presumed to be y/n/s, in Endeavor's own bed, had only fueled the fire, literally. Hawks was fairly confident that the emotion driving Endeavor really had nothing to do with y/n. It was about Endeavor's own pride, that they had come into his house. The number one hero's main motivation wasn't one of concern for y/n, at this point it was revenge and a desire to prove that he was in control.

Endeavor had only told Hawks about the break in, and made him swear not to tell the police, which meant that if this information did get out, Endeavor would know who leaked it.

Dabi wouldn't answer his calls. His other contacts had gone silent. The more time passed, the more concerned Hawks was.

All of this led to him standing outside this door, knowing full well that knocking on this door in the teacher's dorm right now was a calculated risk.

One he had to take.

For her.

Shinso and Kaminari waited impatiently at the main desk of the support course workshop. They had handed over y/n's computer over because Shinso knew there was at least one student there that he could ask for help, and luckily she had agreed to keep this just between them.

An hour later and they were in Kaminari's room with an unlocked computer.

"Should we get the guys?" Kaminari asked as Shinso started to open the laptop.

"Not unless you want to risk your room being set on fire."

"Nah, I like my stuff."

Kaminari leaned over his shoulder as Shinso started clicking on some of the folders. School stuff, some random class notes, pretty normal overall. On a whim, Shinso clicked on one of the folders on the desktop, but it only had another folder inside. Inside that, another folder.

Folders within folders. More folders within folders. But eventually it drilled down to one large file with documents inside.

Thirty or so files, each labeled with a different person's name. Their names. Shinso quickly scanned for his own name, but didn't see it. Hands slightly shaking, he typed his name in the search field for the computer.

Nothing.

He breathed a sigh of relief.

"Click on my name! Now!" Kaminari said, attempting to grab the laptop from him.

"Stop it," Shinso said, taking it back. But he clicked on it anyway.

The document appeared to be organized by date, each with a short entry underneath.

"What does mine say? I have to know!"

Shinso began to read: "February 20. K seems to be liked by most of the class. Friendly, talkative, gets along well with others."

"Aw that's nice," Kaminari interrupted.

"But after listening to his presentation in class today, I wonder if K is smart enough to be able to pull off something like this."
