Ch. 55 What Computer?

"What computer?" Kaminari asked innocently as Shinso handed the computer over to Aizawa.

Behind him, Hawks, Bakugo, Kirishima, Todoroki, and Midoriya shuffled into Kaminari's room.

The students sat in a line on Kaminari's bed, with Hawks and Aizawa standing over them.

"Destruction of property," Aizawa began. "Breaking and entering, theft of property, unauthorized computer access. Some of those charges could mean jail time. Hardly behavior for future heroes and probably worthy of expulsion."

"Sensei, we only did this because -" Shinso started to say.

"No one speaks. Now or outside of this room. If you want to act like adults, then you can face adult consequences."

They shifted uncomfortably under his glare. They'd seen Aizawa mad before, but this was something else. The pro hero's famous eyes stared at each of them, as if daring them to disobey him. In contrast to the intimidating presence of Aizawa, Hawks wandered around Kaminari's room, playing with some of the items on his bookshelf.

Aizawa continued. "But you're lucky that we have more important things to do right now and no time to weigh the legality of what you already did."

Midoriya let out a deep breath.

"So Shinso, let's start with you since you had the computer. What's on there? What can you tell us?"

"Uh..." Shinso glanced at Hawks, unsure how much he could say. Hawks worked for Endeavor, and that was Todoroki's dad. Did they already know?

There were certain things he definitely didn't want to say; Shinso's mind worked quickly, wondering if he had closed the documents he'd opened before handing over the computer. Had he left open the document titled Aizawa?

"Heyoo, guys, it's cool," Hawks told them. "We are all here for the same purpose. Just tell us what you know."

Shinso took a deep breath. "It looks like... well, it sort of looks like... she was spying on all of us. All of you."

"The fuck?" Bakugo interrupted. Aizawa looked sharply at him. "Sorry, but..."

"She has notes on everyone. Individual files with detailed, dated entries. Analysis of personalities. Descriptions of conversations. As if she was reporting it all to... someone."

Hawks and Aizawa exchanged a look.

Shinso could feel the eyes of his classmates on him now as they processed what he had just said.

Aizawa was known for his composure, his ability to stay calm in stressful situations. This moment was testing every bit of that patience.

"What else?" he asked.

"Uh..." Should he say it? Should he say what they had read about Endeavor? With Hawks standing right there?

"What. Else."

But this was Aizawa. The man who had given him a chance at being a hero. Who had spent countless hours training him over the past few months. But also the same man who apparently had been sleeping with y/n, his supposed student. The bastard.

Shinso swallowed his pride and said it all in one breath.

"The entries make it sound like she was hired by Endeavor to find out who was leaking information about UA to the League of Villains."

The room went completely silent, even Hawks stopped playing with Kaminari's toys.

Then one of them spoke up.

"So she is not my sister."

Hawks looked over at Todoroki, and started laughing, breaking the tension in the room. "I'm sorry, what? Your sister? You thought...?"

"It was one guess," Midoriya explained.

Hawks was laughing so hard he had to steady himself on Kaminari's bookshelf. "That is amazing. Why on earth did you think that?"

"She had my dad's credit card."

Hawks laughed even harder at that. "Oh, I bet she did."

"We don't have time for this," Aizawa muttered.

"Here's the deal, kids," Hawks began. "We have some idea of where they have her. Only guesses, but it's better than nothing. We're going to need your help, but we're also going to need you to keep your mouths shut. Can you do that?"

They nodded.

"Todoroki, that includes you. Can you keep this from your father?"

"I don't talk to him."

"So I've heard. Great. Let's talk about the plan."

An hour later, Aizawa and Hawks left the dorm and began walking away from the school to avoid attention from the other students.

"I don't know about you," Hawks said, "but I need a drink. What do you say, Eraser? It's on me."

"Fine. I think I know a place."
