Maiguh had been tensely waiting for news. He had sent a small troop of his people to watch over the castle.
Suddenly an Enderman appeared in front of him. It did not carry the message he had expected.
"Lord and uncle, I am Ianin. You are being framed, your brother Onicent has kidnapped the daughter of Alora guised as you. He intends to blame you in order to regain some favour by eroding yours."
Maiguh saw that Ianin was in some sort of stoney room.
"If you can, please rescue her. Onicent intends to harm her. She is hidden underneath the castle in a large room."
The message cut out.
Maiguh gasped slightly. That was when Endra landed gently beside him.
"What is the matter father?" She asked. Dinetee come over as well.
"Onicent has lost his mind," Maiguh said, a bit stricken.
Dinetee grinned slightly. "Did he ever have one?"
Maiguh looked over to her and lightly scolded, "I would think all that punished time would teach you to fear your own words. Be thankful we are alone here."
"I apologize father," she said.
Maiguh shook his head slightly. "We will have to go to the overworld. I see no choice. I don't think there is time to alert my brother Dauntice to the danger his niece is in. I fear it will be too late."
"I will come," Dinetee said.
"And I as well," Endra said.
"No, you must stay behind, I fear Onicent will see you."
"We are not afraid father." They said together.
"I know you are not," he sighed, "you may come." He wondered if he would regret this decision. He took with him his two daughters and a small group of Enderman. As he walked to the portal something appeared at his feet. A sharp sword.
Maiguh picked it up, "is this a blessing mother?" He called down into the void.
There was a stirring deep down. Maiguh felt the emotions coming forth from the void. There was deep anger and fear there.
"I don't understand mother," he said more quietly. He gripped the sword in his hands hoping that this conflict wouldn't come to this. He had not planned to confront Onicent. Although perhaps the sword was an omen of what was to come.
Maiguh knew he had no choices, he recalled Alora when he had first met her. She was a fair goddess, she did not deserve to suffer. Onicent was punishing her to reach Maiguh. For the first time in awhile Maiguh felt prickles of strong anger. But he pushed it aside, the sweet little child of Alora was in grave danger.
