He hated that man more than any person. He hated that man for everything he did to Janus.

Clicking away from those texts, Logan tapped on Remus' contact. "I think you should read Remus' messages at least," Logan told Janus, sliding the phone back to Janus whom was hidden in his own arms. Hidden from reality or at least, his reality.

"Mhm, I should," Janus replied, ignoring the phone at his side as he felt the weight of his arms on top of his head. Placing the down, he rested his head away from his phone.

Logan only nodded as he took a sip of his drink. Janus took time, not purposely. All he needed was more time, or patient people. He was complicated, stubborn, stupid. But he was also, creative, caring, careful, paitent. People just needed to see that side of him more often, they never give him enough time though.

"Come on, bring me the first aid kit," Logan asked, putting his cup back on the breakfast bar, "Patton told me to help you change the bandages ect ect,"

Slumping up, Janus walked to the kitchen, grabbed the kit and came back. When he sat back down, he gently placed the box on the side. You wouldn't think anyone even placed anything if you were in a different room.

Shuffling forwards, Janus unraveled the bandages on his face. His facial scars looked less irritated than before, the scar was bigger than before but would probaly only need to be disinfected. When Logan's eyes noticed Janus' ear, you could see on Logan's face how bad it looked.

"Do you still have your earings?" Logan asked as Janus placed the old bandages on the side as Logan got the wipes and the cream out of the little red and white box.

The boy nodded as the scars stung from the fresh air touching them for the first time in a while. "When was the last time you took a shower or a bath?"

"About a week ago," Janus told him as Logan plomped some cream on his finger after wiping Janus face and ear with a wipe (seperate wipes for the face and ear though).

"Take one tonight, towels are in a basket, make sure you get the right basket, not the left," Logan instructed as he rubbed the cream on the scar on the boys cheek. The increased part of the scar would eventually heal, the orignal probaly wouldn't.

Janus closed his eye as Logan rubbed the cream around it softly, well as soft as he can,"Okay,"

When Janus turned around, Logan got another wipe out and wiped the ear down a bit more thorough this time, he wanted to get every little crack in the rip. Next he squirted some cream on his hand and just slapped it on the entirety of his ear, honestly he could aim for one spot, the rips were most of the ear at this point.

The small clatter of Janus' old earings clinked on the side as Janus grabbed a new wipe and cleaned the dried blood off of them. One earing was missing, it was the stud, unlike the hoops, studs are much harder to find when they drop on the floor.

After Logan finished putting the cream on, he carefully wrapped the bandage around his ear. Logan was much more graceful than Patton when it came to this so the ear would stand out less than before.

With a snip of a pair of scissors, it was done.

"Thanks Logan," Janus said.

"I'll put these in a safe place," Logan told him, scooping up the earings into the palm of his hand.

Before he stood up, Logan noticed something on it and that small thing made his day. He kept them.

When the two migrated to the sofa's, Janus was the first to start up a conversation this time.

Quietly slamming his hands againest the edges of the laptop, Janus sighed, looking up to the ceiling, "I'll go home tomorrow," He announced to Logan.

"You know what he'll do to yo-"

"I KNOW," Logan flinched backwards at the sudden outburst. His lip quivered as he pushed the laptop onto the coffee table, his teeth grated together as he snapped his eyes closed like a mouse trap. The boy mentally growled and cursed himself. Taking a breath, he repeated himself, "I know."

Sighing, Logan sat back, "I don't want you going back there...that man....he's not stable," Gazing back at the boy, Janus didn't reply.

He knew this. He knew it more than anyone. He knew his own father better than Logan did. He didn't need anyone telling him this. He didn't want anyone acting like they knew him more than he did.

Before he realised it, Logan was on the floor, his body hurt, and the front door slammed as he held his hands againest his ears as the banadages floated to the ground beside his head into a puddle of blood.

He just wanted to help the boy.

All he did was cry.

He was back there. Back towards the door. His tounge was parched. His body shook. The rain poured. The thunder clapped.

His heart got stuck in his lungs. The door banged againest the frame as those two people barged in. His mind choked back his tears.

Where was he?

He was back in that corridor. No? He was in his living room? The corridor? Where?

Grating into his scalp, his bloody fingers dug into his head. The pressure felt heavier than the weight of the world.

"Logan?"

"Dad?"

He was on the sofa.

His body shook as he crumbled into a ball in Patton's arms. Hiding his face away in Patton's arms. His arms trembled as he clung onto Patton's clothes as Patton's hand rested itself upon his head. His lip quivered as his body shivered in the cold. It was cold.

"Dad?" Yvette was speaking this time. "Are you okay Dad?" She placed a hand upon Logan's shoulder. His back tensed up to the touch before slunking back to where it was originally.

As his breathing slowed, he felt his consciousness fading away as quickly as the drowsiness came and as quickly as the feeling of complete numbness came.

Sighing, Yvette stood up and made her way to her room, quietly closing the door behind her.

"I love you kiddo," Patton called to her, right before she closed the door behind her.

"Love you too,"

It was night when Logan woke up.

The street was silent. The wind was louder than his thoughts. The street lights were muted and non existent to his eyes. The stars barely sparkled through the foggy sky unlike the bright full-moon that took away the whole show.

When his small brown eyes opened, he was alone. Apart from one other person in the room other than himself.

"Dad?"

"Yeah?"

Her face bubbled with a beaming smiled as she skipped toward him and jumped into his arms, well flopped more like, she didn't want to hurt him. She just wanted her dad back. That's all she wanted, she just wanted him back home.

"You alright Evie?" Logan asked as he held his daughter in his arms.

Her little head nodded, "I've missed you a lot Dad..."

"Oh honey..." Logan mumbled, his voice being much gentlier than before as he began stroking her little head. "I'm sorry for being away for so long," He told her, holding her close to him.

Her little hands clung to Logan's arms as she cried a little. It hadn't been the same without him. It wouldn't be the same anymore, but at least he's here this time. At least he's here. That was enough for her.

Gently, she let go. Then she punched Logan in the arm.

"Ow?" Logan said, rubbing his arm.

"Roman told me to punch you when you come home,"
