He was 13.
Logan was only 13 when his mother got killed.
They'd found her head floating in a river only 2 days after Logan was left alone.
"Logan, baby, you have to understand, we're safe, he won't hurt us," His mother's soft voice spoke calmly.
"AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT MAMA?!" Logan was scared. Tears furiously ran down his face as his eye brows furrowed stiffly.
Athena walked slowly over to her panicked son, carefully placing a hand on his shoulder and crouching down to him, "Honey, I just know, please breathe baby,"
"I AM BREATHING," Logan snapped, breathing through his teeth, pushing out of her touch, "WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME MAMA?"
"Baby, I am listening to you," She stepped closer to him.
"THEN ACT LIKE IT," He yelled, running into his room and slamming the door, "I hate you,"
Athena walked down to the shop and stood at the counter, looking at all the flowers. They all seemed duller today. The white light shone down on only her as she stood alone in her shop.
Looking in one of the draws, she pulled out a piece of paper and called the number that was written on it.
"Sorry for calling so late at night Veronica," She told the woman on the other side of the phone, "Could I come over for a cup of coffee, I really need to talk to someome,"
"Absolutely, I'll be expecting you soon?"
"Yes, and thank you Ronnie," Athena apoke as she balanced the phone on her shoulder as she wrote a note for Logan, "I'll see you in a bit, ta,"
Walking upstairs, she placed the note under Logan's door before grabbing her coat and leaving the store for the night.
It was a similar night to when Patton left the store. Dark, wet and dull. The rain pattered againest the grimy windows and knocked on the store's door loudly. All the blinds were drawn, blinding the world from the inside of the store, well at least upstairs. The chipped and digusting bricks got watered like the flowers sold from inside making them darker and at least less dirty. Probaly not, but still.
Athena strolled down the dark street, her dark hood covering her face and behind. She'd brought it at a discounted store.
Hitting the floor, a man loomed above her, gun in hand, pointed directly at her head, "If I don't get your money, you don't get you life,"
The man blended into the shadows, all apart from his piercing yellow eyes. A half-assed mask covered the entirity of his hair and face.
"I'm sorry, I don't have any," He struct her violently in the hip as the street puddles soaked through her jeans.
"Try again, I won't hesitate to shoot," He stepped closer to her, crouching down to the ground, completely dry, "Now, I'll ask again, your money or your life,"
She started rushing through all her coat pockets. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
"Here take it!" She cried quietly as the wind blew her hood down. He snatched the money, stomping on her leg when he stood back up shoving it in his pockets.
He walked over to her, slamming the gun againest the top of her head, "Would you like to say anything my dear?"
Her eyes widen, simultaneously recognising that voice, "No...."
