And there he saw...

Himself?

The reflection locked eyes with Logan. Short locks of hair covered its head like feathers on a sparrow. Several fell in front of his face as Logan came closer to him. Curiousity had him wrapped around his finger. His eyes dotted all around the man's face. Brown eyes. Dotted, pale skin. Traces of eye bags that had most likely been there lay under the man's face. He looked healthier than the last time he'd seen him. The rims of his glasses were completely undamaged and dark, the glass reflected the light of the lamp calmly.

Logan took a long breath inwards as he removed the glasses from his face.

More of him was revealed. Like a small scar on his eyebrow from his youth. He had a square shaped face, unlike his mother's face whom was more rounded than him. It was a vivid reminder of the man who was once in his life, he never remembered anything specific though.

Putting his glasses on, he breathed out once again. He began recognising this man as himself, slowly.

His finger traced the marks of the scar on the man on his own face. It dipped into his face slightly as if not fully healed. The bags on the man's face felt lighter than they looked on his face. The square shape was smooth, but still the same as the person he stared at.

The dented knuckles from punching a mirror reflected onto the man. The redness had gone down with time, yet it still was there. It wasn't healed completely, in time, maybe it would be. However, right now, it wasn't.

Logan lent against the table with the sink. All he did was smile at this man.

He finally realised, gazing into this man's eyes. He wasn't her. Those brown eyes weren't Athena's, they were Logan's. The brown hair upon his head, it was his, not his mother's. The freckles on his skin, were his. He wasn't her.

He chuckled heartily along with his reflection. He smirked happily with him, almost enjoying his company.

Logan soon left the bathroom, past the wall of memories, back to the living room. Relief was another type of sensation to Logan, he wasn't really sure how to respond to it.

He sat on the sofa, turned on the tv and just watched it.

Time Skip!

"Hey Logan, we're home," Patton announced as he and Yvette came into the apartment.

"Did you two have a good day?" Logan asked, turning himself so he can look at the two.

"Yeah! It was great Dad!" Yvette told Logan, hopping over to him after taking her shoes off at the door.

Logan raised an eyebrow, "Dad?"

"Oh, sorry...." She mumbled.

"No, it's alright, you can call me Dad if you want," Logan chuckled, patting the sofa, "You're show is usually on around this time?"

"Yep!" She said as Logan changed the channel.

Logan nodded, "Make sure to do your homework after this episode okay?" Patton told her as he came over to the other two.

"Alright!" She agreed, completely indulged into the show.

Logan stood up, "It's a Wednesday, I'll start cooking,"

"Alright Lo," Patton blankly stared as his attention was diverted to the show he was now watching along with Yvette.

The sweet smell of whatever Logan was cooking had filled the entire apartment, even after Yvette had to do her homework, all she could do is smell the beautiful scent. She could do her homework, but doing this seemed like a better thing to do with her time. Well to her anyway. Do your homework kids.
