"Dad! Logan!" Yvette called to the two adults as she left her friend Sam's house, "Did you guys make up!"

"Yeah we did," Logan spoke for the two as they intertwined their fingers.

She pushed between the two to hop into the car, "Well let's get home now!"

The two laughed as they all waved goodbye before driving back to Patton's apartment block.

The sky was fairly bright. Day was transforming into night, from the beautiful golden painted sky to a gorgeously spotted blue sea. The pink paint mixed with the blue and the yellow in a swirl of colours in the sky that you would want to stare at for days but only could for a few fullfilling few minutes before the moon comes and greets the night. Stars would start to embrace all of human kind in their lonely lights that you could help join together so they'd be less lonely in their constellations.

The three crawled out of the car and to Patton's apartment when the car was locked. Crawled I mean just Patton and Yvette like the rabid weirdos they are, you know, like me.

"Did you have a good time at Sam's house kiddo?" Patton asked as he unlocked the apartment for the other two to enter.

They took off their shoes as Yvette nodded and Patton continued speaking, "How about we have a movie night?"

"Yeah!" Yvette cheered as she scrambled over to the sofa.

After bing watching several movies of her choice, she fell asleep on the sofa to the sound of Immortals from Big Hero 6. The two adults of the house carried her to her room before sitting back on the sofa.

"Patton, there's something I've been meaning to ask you about when you avoided me," Logan stated as he slouched on his knees, he was very engrossed in the movie when he began speaking.

Patton looked at the man beside him. "What is it..?"

"Why?"

A sigh escaped Patton's mouth as he thought about what happened. The gentle touch of his warm lips on his cheeks before he left the apartment, the undeniably stupid reaction Patton believed he had towards it. The way he treated Roman during that time as well yet he still helped, god he was so grateful for a friend like him. And then when they bumped into each other again.

Even after all that, he smiled, "From the moment I've met you, my whole life has been turned upside down," He said fondly, "I guess I needed time to process,"

Logan turned to face Patton as if understanding what Patton unintentionally was implying, "It's alright Patton, I know how it is," He chuckled quietly.

Then he felt the warmth of another holding him softly, "Lo..."

"Yeah?" His warm breath flowed through Pattons raven black hair as he held onto Logan.

"How do I make this up to you..?" Patton asked the other as they cuddled.

Logan's arms wrapped themselves perfectly around Patton's body, "Just...Don't do that again....please,"

The hotness of Patton's breath tickled Logan's chest softly as he hummed in agreement with the other. He really didn't want to that again.

The two lay contently in each others arms in almost complete silence apart from the faint sound of their breathing. Logan's fingers slid through Patton's dark hair as he petted him to the sound of Big Hero 6. It was peaceful for once, and they wouldn't want that to change ever again. In that moment, it was just then, they realised, their souls really were intertwined in the string of fate.

Patton's P.O.V

I'm walking.

I'm walking along a long line.

A string perhaps.

Below the red string is blackness. An empty void of nothingness. And all I'm doing is walking.

I gaze at the sight in front of me. It's so....bright?

Whispers swam around me in a red mist of blood? They spoke to me, but I couldn't hear their words. They caressed my ears with their cold touch and icy breath againest my neck.

The hairs on my neck raised themselves like the dead as I just walked.

I just walked on that red string.

I only walked forward on that red string.

Forward into the brightness.

I walked with the unfamilar, familar voices that wept and cried around me.

No P.O.V

"Patton? Wake up, the film has finished," Logan softly as he nudged the other awake.

Stirring awake, Patton was still cuddling up in Logan's arms, "Hm...? Oh, okay..." He mumbled quietly as he rubbed his eyes.

While Patton turned off the film, Logan grabbed Patton glasses and put them on his face gently but ended up poking him in the eye accidentally.

"Are you staying over?" Patton asked as he adjusted his glasses. His hair was rather messy from Logan playing with it as he slept so he looked like a dog's back side.

Logan nodded, yawning in the process.

Patton nodded back making a humming noise, "I can get a pillow for you unless you'd rather stay in my room?"

Logan just stood up tiredly as he nodded, walking to Patton's room and just flopping onto the bed, still wearing his knitted vest and tie like a dumbass.

Soon after Patton came into his room, "Come on, I can lend you some pyjamas, you aren't sleeping in a tie," he threw a unicorn onesie onto the man that was laying face first on his bed, "Get changed then you can sleep,"

Patton left the room to get changed into his cat onesie, hoping that Logan actually got up to change.

He walked back into the room and Logan was effectively in the white and blue unicorn onesie but now tucked into bed by himself. Although, he refused to take of his tie so it was very loosely tied around his onesie.

Patton crawled into the warm covers as well, watching the others calm breathing as he slept. Logan had the onesies hood over his head, covering his lovely eyes and light hair.

Taking off his and Logan's glasses, he turned off the lamp, encasing the room in almost complete darkness apart from the light peering through the window.

He tenderly removed the tie from Logan's neck, the tie was undone as it slid from under Logan's body towards Patton. He threw the tie nearby where Logan's pile of clothes were, he wasn't a good thrower so it was half way across the room.

"Sweet dreams Lo," Patton face twinkled in the moonlight as a gentle smirk appeared on to his face, "I love you,"

Logan hummed, quietly stirring in his sleep to the sound of Patton's voice.

His clothes were neatly piled next to the bed on the floor ready for the next day when he'd have to wear them again.

The moon shone through the cream curtains softly as the wind blew through the tiny crack in the open window. The white light lay on top of Patton's dark hair as he gazed at the man sleeping in front of him. A small smile crept upon his face as he remembered how lucky he was to have Logan, I mean, Logan could have easily avoided Patton for the rest of his life, but here he was, laying beside the man he loves.

Patton's breathing slowed as he sunk into the warmth of Logan and the duvet. His eyes felt heavy as he lovingly stared at the constellations that he could pick out on the galaxy of stars printed on Logan's half conceled face. Days could be spent counting those stars on Logan's face and he'd never get bored of looking at him.

The moon sang a lullaby as his weighted eye lids got heavier. Logan's soft breath warmed him up more in the comfy bed.

Soon he didn't have the strength to stay awake and count the endless amount of freckles on Logan's face. He fell asleep with wonderful dreams embracing his mind.
