After recieving their drinks: Yvette had some vinto, Janus had a decaf cappuccino, Logan had a black coffee, Patton had hot chocolater with cream and marshmellows and sprinkles. Following their son's example, Othello and Veronica ordered the exact same thing, but got some sandwiches as well because the others had seemed to forgot.

The air warmed around them and several had taken off their jackets and drapped them on the back of their chairs. Sandwiches were half eaten and a few of them had finished their drinks.

Taking a sip of her drink, Veronica dropped in at the end of the previous conversation, "So Logan, how have you been, the last time I heard from you, you weren't in the best shape," Veronica asked, stirring the cream into her hot chocolate as the sprinkles floated on the top of the thin layer of foam. "I hope you're doing well,"

Putting his cup down, Logan cleared his throat, "I'm doing much better now, well obviously. Sometimes need a little help," He glanced over towards the crutch that leaned againest the wall by Othello, "But other than that, everything is okay," He informed her, "Anything new with you?"

Scooping some cream into her mouth, Veronica nodded in affirmation, "Yeah, there is actually, me and Othello had a small vacation the other month, we went to spain, near the seaside," Veronica began, "It was a nice inn, they served some good food, very nice meringues," He told him, "I could find a pamphlet for you later, pop it over to yours later?"

"I'd appreciate that very much Veronica, it sounds very nice," Logan smiled, "Brought any souvenirs back?" He asked.

"Did you want one?" Veronica chucked as she turned around, grabbing something out of her bag.

Leaning on the table, Yvette looked over, Janus' ear stuck out as if he was using it to see rather than to hear. Curiousity struck Patton as well as he mirrored his daughter as her peered over his mothers shoulder into her bag, holding onto the back of his chair for support.

Taking a smaller bag out of her bag, the table clinked as she put the bag down before closing her bigger bag.

Peeking in the bag, Veronica smacked Patton's hand, "No peeking Patton, you'll get your turn," She smiled with a piercing glare before going back to what she was doing.

Going into the bag, Veronica pulled out a little cardboard box. Fiddling with the tape on the side of the box, she eventually was able to rip it off. Slowly she lifted the lid and pulled out what was in the box. Falling off of a little glass bull fighter and bull, bubble wrap fell onto the table. Gently holding the statue to the side, Veronica flicked a switch as the glass lit up, quietly fading between colours.

"That's pretty," Yvette commented as she stared at the colours changing, Patton doing the exact same thing but with his mouth open as if he was saying 'ooo'.

Leaning on his hand Janus gave a nod, "We should probably keep it in it's box, to make sure it doesn't break," Janus told them as Logan slid the statue over to him, doing exactly what Janus said as well as turning it off.

"Thank you Ronnie," Logan said as he gently lowered it into his bag that was on the floor by his chair as Janus bit into his sandwich. Turning around, Logan took a sip of his drink as he side eye glanced at Patton, raising his eyebrow as he asked a silent question.

Slurrping his empty mug as he winked loudly in response, his entire face exaggerating the entire action until everyone stared at Patton with a confused frown. Looking around at everyone whose eyes where glued onto him, Othello cleared his throat loudly, "Do you have something you want to say sons?" He asked switching his head between Logan and Patton, unsure of which will begin speaking.

"Eheheh," Patton awkwardly chuckled as he held the back of his neck, the hairs stood up like needles againest his palm. "Um...Yes, we uh...do," Patton began, "Don't we Logan?"

Eyes widened, Logan stared at Patton with a frozen smile from around 2 minutes ago, "Yes, yes we do," he blinked furiously at Patton as he held his hands on the table, his elbows almost bumping Janus' and Othello's in the process. "Though it's appropriate for you to tell them, as they are your parents," Logan smiled maliciously  with a slight hint of social panic. And by slight I mean a whole family pack worth of it.

Staring widely at Logan, Patton's left eye twitched. "How about we tell them together," Emphaises on the together for context.

Chuckling playful Logan nodded, "That was the plan honey," Logan stood up walking towards Patton's chair, "It was the plan, right?" Logan asked, leaning on the back of Patton's chair, looking down at his husband-to-be as Patton looked up with a slightly guilty, mischievious smirk as Logan's smile dropped in a moment of pure offense.

Rolling his eyes a few seconds later, Logan smiled, laughing for a second, "Just for that, you can tell them mi amour," Logan smirked as his revenge was playing out.

"Awww, now that's just unfair," Patton groaned, as Logan continued to proudly stand behind Patton with a wide grin upon his face.

Sighing, Patton turned to an angle where he could see both of his parents. "Right-y-io," Patton began, "We have an announcement for you two," Patton told them, "Evie and Jan already know it, but it's about time that you should too, considering the fact that it happened well over a fortnight ago," Patton rambled on.

Knowing where Patton was going with this, Logan placed a hand on Patton's shoulder as he gazed back at him. Mouthing to him 'What are you doing?' Logan only replied with a wink.

"Sweetie, you look like you're going to explode of frustration," Logan pointed out, Yvette was almost vibrating in her seat as she held her breath, her face turning completely red. "Would you like to tell them instead?"

"MY DADS ARE GETTING MARRIED!" Yvette yelled loudly, sitting up in her seat as her hands slammed agained the table as she breathed in loudly. Sighing as she deflated back into her seat, "that's the announcement gran, pop,"

Patting Yvette's shoulder gently, Patton awkwardly chuckled, "That's it my girl," Patton told her. As Logan stood to the sidelines, sitting next to Janus, making him move over to Logan's previous seat. "Yeah, so that's, that," Patton hadn't stopped with his awkward laughter.

"Dad?" Janus spoke up.

"Yeah?" Patton turned towards Janus, the murmur of his chuckles rumbling through the cafe like an earthquake.

Kindly smiling, Janus said something not so kind, "You can stop laughing now Dad," Janus informed him, giggling slightly under his breath.

Holding a hand over his mouth, Patton nodded as if saying 'yes I can'. Blinking at his parents, Patton waited for a response, his eyes switching between the two everytime he blinked. His eyebrows furrowed as his parents continued to remain silent. Raising one, he looked over towards Logan as he lowered down his hand from his face.

Sharply breathing in, Patton twiddled his thumbs, still staring at the two people who raised him, "Aren't you going to say anything?" Patton asked, his head felt heavy as he held his breath.

A bewildered grin lay wide upon Veronica's face as she finally put her mug down, the last minutes had tuned out the sound of her slurpping her drink. "Congratulations, I'm very happy for you dear," Veronica held her son's hand tightly, shaking it with certainity. "I'm glad you found happiness," She turned to Logan, "You as well honey," Her eyes relaxed gently as she took her son's other hand, "I've waited for this day ever since you woke up on your 4th birthday, junping on out bed so excited," She continued, "And now you've found the One,"

"I agree, with uh... everything that your mother said," Othello spoke up, "I'm not used to all this, but uh... seeing you all happy like this kiddo. You've really made me proud," Patting a hand on Logan's shoulder, Othello looked towards his future son-in-law, "Better not hurt him,"

"I hope not," Logan agreed.
