Chapter 8 - Sleep

Trigger Warning: Death mention, crying.

"Patton! Logan! Wake up!"

Patton groaned as he began to see Yvette, in her complete school uniform, "What time is it...?"

"Time to go to school!"

Patton elbowed Logan in the stomach by accident as he shot up from laying on top of the other. They'd eventually fallen asleep together as the silent TV couldn't keep them awake, "Patton?"

"Oh sorry Lo!" Patton dashed to his room, changing into something really simple really quickly, "WAIT LOGAN?!"

"Yeah..?" Logan adjusted his glasses as Patton threw himself around the entire apartment in a rush.

Patton quickly put his shoes on as the other two did the same, "Sugar, we won't make it,"

"We'll run, I'll give Yvette a piggyback," Logan suggested as it's the most effective way to get somewhere quickly.

"Alright,"

Now, just imagine, two grown men running through a street, one having a young girl on his back as they run to a school.

"Ah thank god, we...we're not late!" Patton panted as Logan got Yvette off of his back as children and parents alike watched the odd couple.

After letting Yvette down, Logan just fucking fell face down on the floor, "I'm fine,"

Many adult began whispering to each other and occasionally pointed at the trio, "Really?"

"I'm alive," Logan responsed, "Go, or else you'll be late, I'll be fine,"

"Okay Lo, come on Yvette," Patton confirmed as he and Yvette went into school as Logan still laid there.

"So Mr and Miss Winters, why are you late today?" The receptionist asked as he continued to do whatever he was doing.

Patton didn't know what to say at the moment he was signing himself in.

"He accidentally fell asleep on the sofa with Logan," Yvette pointed out cheerfully when she finished her breakfast bar.

Patton turned red, "Logan? Who's that?" Remy, the receptionist peered up as his sunglasses slid down his nose revealing his violet eyes, "Spill the tea,"

"We need to get to class first," Patton began hurrying Yvette as to avoid the embarrassing conversation.

"Bye Mr Remy!"

Time Skip! Lunch Break!

Patton sat alone in his office again as he began preparing the powerpoint for after break. He wasn't very good with technology is the least I could say.

"I wonder what Logan's doing..." He thought aloud.

He began slowly writing on his forearm, 'Hey what're you doing,'

Logan, on the other hand, was still laying on the floor outside of school, asleep, he'd fallen asleep there after Patton and Yvette left. He was still dehydrated and malnourished.

People genuinely thought he was dead when they walked passed the school gate.

Luckily, Remy put a sign next to him saying, 'I fell asleep here, I'm not dead!'. He took a photo afterwards and sent it to Patton.

Okay back to Patton.

He tapped the pen agained the desk as he waited for a reply.

Buzz.

He opened his messages and saw a picture of Logan.

Yum.Sleep: Hey found this random guy asleep outside of school
